About

Follow my aerial journey

Bradscanvas is a culmination of the places I experience from above. With a passion for photography and finding obtuse & exciting angles, aerial drone photography was the natural progression. Once an image of mine made the top page of Reddit (Yes, a flattering moment), it was time to put my skills to the test - undertaking unique compositions.

Should I choose Fine Art Paper or Lustre?

Most photos print beautifully on both fine art paper and lustre paper, so you really can't go wrong no matter which paper you choose.

Having said that, colorful or scenic photos print best on lustre paper, as the semi-gloss finish enhances the saturation and contrast in these images.

Abstract photographs print well on both paper types, but fine art paper enhances the painterly, impressionist quality of these photos.

Do you accept custom sizes?

Yes, most images can be printed at custom sizes. This usually requires the image to be cropped from its original ratio. Extensive cropping will limit how large the image can be printed. Please contact me if you're interested in a custom size.

What is the difference between Lustre Paper & Fine art Paper?

The biggest difference between lustre and fine art paper is that lustre has a semi-matte finish with a very slight texture, whereas fine art paper has a totally matte, smooth finish. The print process is different for both paper types, as well - lustre prints are created using a traditional, chromogenic print process, whereas fine art prints are created using a giclee, inkjet print process. Fine art prints are more expensive to create both because of the print process and the paper is more expensive than lustre. Both papers are archival (will not fade) for 100 years when displayed under glass in normal lighting conditions.
