SolakDesign is a one-person workshop creating handcrafted, gift-worthy pieces from reclaimed and locally sourced wood. As an artist, I’m constantly pulling inspiration from the world around me, whether it’s architecture, textures, patterns, or materials that spark an idea and shape the work I make. As a designer, I create pieces that reflect my own perspective, style, and approach to craftsmanship.
My shop is small, but that allows me to stay hands-on through the entire process. Every piece is shaped, finished, and assembled by hand in my workshop using hardwoods chosen for their grain and natural beauty, so that each one has its own distinct feel.
Because my work is rooted in both design and craftsmanship, it’s ideal for people who appreciate well-made products that are special enough to keep and meaningful enough to give.
