We’re really happy with this lovely stand & have used it continually since it was delivered. It’s invaluable for homeschool, it means guitar lessons are more meaningful - the frets and strings of the guitar are easier to see as are my daughter’s hands on the neck of the guitar - and dancing lessons are much better. No more balancing act with whatever boxes and books happen to be around. Thanks!

Coming from a long line of carpenters and woodworkers, I've spent years learning from doing and making. I love the entire process from utilising my design background to creating and defining a project to completion. While the work is amazing, nothing beats the feeling when you finish a great project with pride and enjoyment!

Stack of Wood was born out of a passion and love for quality products made out of wood. The sheer pleasure in taking pieces of wood and transforming them into something useful, beautiful or interesting is what gets me going and into the woodshop each time. The name Stack of Wood comes from a favourite song called "Whose Chariot?" with the line 'I made my life out of a stack of wood.' The idea and sentiment behind that line resonated with me; the ability to make whatever you needed in life by simply creating it out of a stack of wood. It's why I love what I do and I am now really pleased to be selling unique wooden furniture and pieces here!
