My masks are your noble self revealed, that secret, wise and powerful self that resides at your core. My hats are designed to help you celebrate that nobility and the creativity that resides in all of us, .

I've been making masks since 1980 when I first began making them for Mr Jupiter's Children's Theatre. I used my masks in visual theatre performances with Centrepiece Productions from 1988 to 2003, and I also supplied other theatre groups and still sell sets of latex commedia masks to schools via my website.

But decorative masks are my passion, and as soon as I stopped making masks for visual theatre and performance art works, I began making them for the sheer pleasure of creating something beautiful.

In 2003 when I'd had enough of travelling my show around Australia and New Zealand, I became a high school art teacher. Five years later, a different kind of inspiration hit and I began writing. I left teaching in 2008 and now divide my time between editing books for others, writing my own books and making masks or decorating hats depending on how the inspiration flows.

All the masks and hats are one-only completely original designs. Some may be similar in style, but no two will ever be exactly the same.
