My Sewing Journey
Coso desde pequeña, mi maestra me enseñó a coser una muñeca cuando tenía seis años. Lo siguiente fue una almohada de retazos cuando estuve en Odessey of the Mind. Luego, mi abuela me tomó bajo su protección y me dejó ayudar con los disfraces de Halloween que ella me hizo. En la escuela secundaria comencé a hacer mi propia ropa y eso duró hasta la universidad.
Luego comencé mi carrera profesional y con el tiempo mi máquina de coser se usaba cada vez menos. Pero una vez que tuve mi primer hijo, la inspiración para hacerlos artículos hechos a mano me trajo un nuevo mundo de inspiración y la costura ha sido una constante desde entonces.
Coser y unir piezas es una forma de arte en la que encuentro mucha expresión creativa e inspiración artística cuando creo nuevas piezas. Coser es un trabajo de amor y me alegra el corazón ver cuánto aprecian mis clientes los artículos hechos a mano que creo.

I have been sewing since I was a young child, my teacher taught me how to sew a doll at the age of six. Next was a patchwork pillow when I was in Odessey of the Mind. My grandmother then took me under her wing and let me help with the Halloween costumes that she made me. In high school I began making my own clothes and that lasted through college.
Then I began my career path and over time my sewing machine was used less and less. But once I had my first child, the inspiration to make them handmade items brought a new world of inspiration and sewing has been a constant since.
Sewing and piecing is an art form where I find a lot of creative expression and artistic inspiration when I create new pieces. Sewing is a labor of love and it makes my heart happy to see how much my customers appreciate the handcrafted items that I create.
