All of my designs are hand-lettered by me with Japanese sumi ink, Coliro Finetec watercolour paints, or various water-based brush pens on high-quality card. Looking after the environment is close to my heart, so where I can I have used recycled, plastic-free packaging.

I will even pop in a hand-written gift message for free if you're sending direct to a loved one!

The tags are so cute, they fit perfectly in theme for an Alice in wonderland theme party. The sellers communication is fantastic. I was worried as the tags were not arriving through then post, and the seller offered to send another set of tags for free including free next day postage (so that it comes in time for the party. Which I thought was very nice of the seller. I would highly recommend

The Hummingbird Word | Modern Calligraphy

The Hummingbird Word is run by me - Jen, a UK-based calligrapher and writer, with a love of anything hand-made, thoughtful and original. I have been practicing calligraphy since 2018, when I was planning my wedding, and since taking on a number of commissions for friends and family, decided to launch my calligraphy venture in 2021!

Gift wrapping and packaging

All of my items will be shipped with gift wrapping, which will include tissue paper wrapping and a sticker - perfect for if you want to send items as a gift for a loved one - if you would like me to send direct to the recipient just let me know! I'll be sure not to include an invoice.
