Finding perfection in imperfection

I have been creating things with my hands for as long as I can remember. I have found an incredible medium of sculpting clay, carving it and then using a complicated aging process.

I love the details that come out of the aging process. A little bit like life, we need to have dark times to help us show all of our beauty.

As an artist I try to stay away from trends. I think trends make people feel uncomfortable. Trends are always changing. It is impossible to keep up all the time if you are a consumer and artist. As an artist. I create pieces that I hope make people feel comfortable and at home, at the same time creating something unique.
