This was a gift and absolutely loved by the receiver, also a supporter of recycling. Beautifully packaged. Though slightly delayed in the Post this was not caused by the seller. Recommend this creative business and its maker to anyone. I personall loved it too.

Enjoy your wine! Then, collect the empty bottles, soak and clean them and remove the labels.
A de-vitrifying spray assures that the glass does not get cloudy while exposed to the high temperatures in the kiln.
In the kiln, the bottles are placed on a thin fire paper to flatten or into a mold.
Over 9-10 hrs, the kiln is heated in stages to temperature up to 750 C. The bottles flatten or slump into the mold.
After a delicate cooling down period follows another thorough cleaning - followed by another party! Enjoy!

Do you love wine as much as I do?

And what about cheese, do you love cheese as well? Wine and cheese go well together, and an "upcycled" wine bottle used as a cheese board, olive, fruit or cracker tray can highlight this divine connection.

Instead of throwing all those empty wine bottles away, I melt and reshape them into unusual but useful dishes. If you bring one of my upcycled bottles filled with goodies (or as a gift for the hostess) to a family dinner, backyard barbie, neighbourhood party or game night, it sure will be a conversation starter.
For the love of wine: Reduce. Reuse. Recycle!

PS:
I am using green energy (produced by solar panels on the roof of my studio and stored in a Tesla Powerwall battery system) to fire up my kiln.
