    About beadupastorm

    Sales 146
    On Etsy since 2010

Once I'd made my first bead I was hooked, I dreamed beads for weeks!

My beads are made one at a time by hand in the flame, just as beads have been lampworked for centuries (obviously without the big tank of propane or medical oxygen concentrator, but essentially it's the same process).

They are a way for me to convey my love of colour and nature, satisfying the artistic urge to create. I lose myself in the process of making a bead. Whether I'm silent, holding my breath and concentrating hard, or listening to music and singing my heart out, I hope you feel my joy when you look at my beads.

I have always had a deep wanderlust - but my yearning to travel lessened a little when I had a family. Instead my beads are travelling for me - across the United States, Europe, Australia...

I am very proud to have a bead included in the stunning new Lark Book - 1000 Beads. It's on page 264!

    Additional policies and FAQs
I love to receive custom orders. Please feel free to contact me to discuss your requirements. Please be aware that I may require a deposit for your commission.

Please be aware that glass beads are pretty tough, but not indestructible. Treated with care they will outlast us all!
If you drop them on a hard surface they may break or chip (especially sculptural pieces with sticking out bits like ears!), sharp glass can cut you! So please treat them nicely :)

My beads are not intended for small children and can be a choking hazard. So please be aware of this and take precautions.

Purchases from Bead Up A Storm are made under UK/EU selling regulations and as such are subject to the relevant UK/EU laws. This protects you as a buyer and me too - so it's all good!
