A BIT ABOUT ME
I love all things craft, especially crocheting and knitting with premium natural yarns. I love luxury yarns like alpaca and silk, and craft mostly with natural fibres like these and wool, cotton, leather, suede. I make mostly unique, one of a kind scarfs and hats, and babies blankets. So you if love luxury and quality, hand knitted & crochet scarfs, hats, and have a sweet little babe or know someone with a sweet babe, you've come to right shop!

I craft beside my lovely crafty hubby, who makes the most beautiful hand plaited leather belts, necklaces, watchbands and stockwhips. (you can see his blog at www.stockmanleathercraft.com and his etsy shop is http://www.etsy.com/shop/StockmanLeathercraft !).

A BIT ABOUT THE MATERIALS I USE...
One of the most important things in all my creations is the use of LUXURY NATURAL YARNS. I am super picky with my yarns and use only the best quality I can lay my hands on. I think mother nature got it right when it comes to natural fibres and work only with these. There are so many delicious natural fibres, not mention infinite blends of fibres, then there's the colours! Oh my, the colours. The gorgeous possibilities are endless.

A BIT ABOUT MAKING STUFF...
There is a certainly meditative peaceful zone I find myself in when I knit, crochet or craft in general. I am at peace when creating a unique hand crafted item and I feel this peace translates into the item I create. I love to play with colours and textures the most, and to make them work within a design or pattern is ever so satisfying, not to mention heaps of fun! Put simply, making stuff is my happy place.

A BIT ABOUT MY DREAM...
I've had a dream for a very long time to eek out a humble little living from self sufficiency and making things with my own hands. What you see here is my very first teeny tiny baby steps towards making that dream a reality.
