Beautiful, beautiful painting! I am especially drawn to the texture in the snow. I am always blown away by the depth and texture of Deb's work. It is always such a pleasure and I know I'll be back for more. Thank you!

Welcome to falderal; the "other" online art studio of Debra Greenleaf, former college art instructor, mixed media fine artist, and propreitress of mtjoyschool.etsy.com. Please take your time in my shop. Read all of my carefully written descriptions and check out all of the detailed photos of my art work. I would like to say that I became an artist because I studied for many years to do so, but truthfully, like so many in my field I have never been anything but an artist. My art work is reflective of the scope of my imagination and creativity, therefore my shop is quite eclectic. I tend to work in "series" and while my shop may be divergent with a smattering of many styles, the work within each series is not, it's quite consistent. I am also consistent when it comes to customer service. My patrons are very happy and I work hard to keep them so. Please review all of my policies and if you have any questions, or even if you would just like to say "hello"; feel free to convo me. DGC

Returns and exchanges
RETURN POLICY- Yes, you may return a piece that does not meet your expectations within 14 calendar days for a refund of your purchase price. I do not refund shipping charges or fees. If you would like to return a purchase, please convo me and let me know. Ultimately, you are the patron and your happiness is of greatest concern to me.
Payment
After purchase, please pay within three days by one of the following methods:
-PAYPAL. just click through. If you have problems, please convo me, I can send you an invoice.
-MONEY ORDER. I will ship your art work when the money order arrives.
If you see something that you like but cannot pay immediately, convo me. I way be willing to reserve the art work for you for a period of one week, or a little longer.
I am generally speaking, a very casual and understanding person. If you have made a purchase in error or are having problems paying, please just convo. No worries.
Commissions for art work valued over $100 require a 50% downpayment. I am willing to establish payment plans for more expensive pieces.
Purchases not paid within three days will be canceled and the item relisted, negative feedback left etc.

Shipping
I ship two times per week, usually Tuesday and Friday. Each work sold is varnished AFTER the sale, because the varnish makes the artwork more difficult to photograph. Therefore, it may be a few days after the sale before your artwork is shipped. If you need something immediately, convo me. I try to convo each patron at the time of shipment to say "thanks" and to let you know that your item has shipped.
Within the USA I try to ship Priority because the parcels are handled much more carefully. I always purchase delivery confirmation for Priority parcels. If you would like to purchase insurance on your parcel, please convo me so that I can adjust your listing. I do not insure unless you are willing to pay for it.
Prints (reproductions) are shipped via USPS First class mail in a waterproof poly bag and bend-proof mailer.
I love to ship Internationally, but International shippping can be difficult to calculate for each individual country and art work. I use the "everywhere else" option to list a general international shipping rate. FEEL FREE to contact me with your info for a specific and exact shipping amount to your country of origins. ANY listing can be edited to charge exact shipping for an international patron, and I would be happy to do so.
Shipping amounts for larger pieces can also be difficult to estimate. Etsy allows sellers to only choose ONE shipping amount for the entire United States. While this amount might be approproate for shipping to the West coast, patrons who live nearby should not be expected to over-pay. On larger pieces (over 12 x 12 )I will refund all shipping overpayments (shipping amount + confirmation + packaging materials) in excess of $1, either by paypal or literal refund.
Whenever possible, I use recycled shipping materials.
I ALWAYS include freebies!
