5 out of 5 starsThis is absolutely gorgeous! I saw Lauren's artwork on something while shopping, and just had to find out more about the artist and her work. When I saw this print on her Etsy page, I was drawn in to the image and just had to order it. This is exactly how artwork is meant to inspire us, and I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase! Thank you, Lauren, for sharing your beautiful gift with us.

Artist, Designer, Vet Nurse. Passionate about the beauty of the natural world
Ginger Kelly began in 2009 when I started to receive offers from friends and neighbours to buy my drawings. I'd heard about Etsy from other artists and sellers I met at markets and decided to open a shop to share my drawings and handmade creations.
I now live and work from my studio in a tiny Australian timber cottage. Here, I'm nestled on the side of a green valley next to a river, cramming every indoor space with my illustrations, fabrics, handmade homewares, cards, jewelry, craft and sewing supplies. I call my work-space 'organised chaos' and I love it to bits. My horse, rabbits, the local wildlife and my little dog Toby keep me entertained with their endless antics.
I work part time as a vet nurse four days a week. Every night and all weekend I'm working in my studio, drawing, painting, designing and running my textile & surface pattern design business Thistle and Fox.
I run both my Etsy shops all by myself. Which means lots of late nights! It is incredibly important to me to be involved in every stage of the creative process... from my first imaginings to creating a custom piece and delivering it into the hands of its new owner.
The main reason I love selling & shopping on Etsy is discovering amazing handmade things from makers like myself all over the world and having direct contact with my customers.
Inspiration comes from many places. Far too many to name in a few thousand words and I've always preferred pictures. I use Pinterest to keep track of all the artists, designers and bloggers that inspire me to think, dream and most of all, create the things I love!

ABOUT MY ARTWORK
◥◥◥ ◤◤◤◢◣ ◥◥◥ ◤◤◤
I work mainly in pencil and watercolor or using digital painting and digital photo collage techniques. Many of the artworks in my gallery are photo manipulations/collages using a blend of painting, drawing, my own photography and some stock images generously provided for use by the photographers and models. If you would like to see more about my art process, take a look at my website:

Why are some of your items being sent from the USA or UK?
Although I live in Australia, most of my 'Made to Order' prints, tote bags and cushion covers are made for me by my printing partners in the USA and UK.
I have carefully chosen to work with indie print labs that consistently produce high quality work, reproduce my artwork the way I want it to be represented and they provide safe, affordable international shipping so your order will be sure to arrive in excellent condition.
Regardless of where your order is shipping from, you will always deal directly with me and any order problems can be sorted out by contacting me as soon as you receive your parcel. Rest assured, problems are very rare and I am always happy with the customer service I have received from my printing partners in the past.

Care instructions
✔ JEWELRY & Hair Clips/Combs
My jewelry is made from recycled vintage metals and new glass beads. All metals are lead & nickel free so they are safe to wear against your skin but to keep them looking shiny & new it is best not to wear them while swimming and keep them in a dry place when not being worn.
You can clean the metal parts by rubbing with cotton wool or soft cloth dipped in a mixture of apple cider vinegar and salt. It will remove tarnish and make them just like new again! Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly after cleaning.
This method works best on raw brass and copper. Metals that have been given an antiqued or burnished treatment (the comb part of the hair accessories) are best cleaned with a damp soft cloth.
Custom Macrame Wall Hangings & Plant Hangers
I first learned macrame as a young girl and have recently begun experimenting with this craft again, making plant hangers for my home which keeps my huge plant collection safely out of reach of my pets.
I have a small range of Made to Order plant hangers and occasionally create one of a kind wall hangings.
If you would like a custom made plant hanger or wall hanging, please get in touch with details about what you would like, the ideal size & your shipping location. I am happy to provide a quote & estimated production time.
