What some people consider junk, I value as treasure!
The older we get, the more we look to our past for inspiration and appreciate our special childhood memories. Lately, I've acquired this passion for old china, brass and silver I never knew I had. My heart beats faster when ever I approach a thrift shop or garage sale. The thrill of not knowing what treasures I might find keeps me searching. Fortunately, my husband loves to hunt for treasure on an early Saturday morning with me. Together we venture out for adventure and I love passing on some of those finds to my customers.
When my children were young, I sold children's books and their images and wonderful stories are a particular joy to me. A child's first library and story time memories help shape them into the people they are destined to become. I have a section in my shop devoted to vintage books and music that I love filling up with special finds.
My shop has a little bit of everything, just things I find to be beautiful and would love to have in my home. Some of the treasures get painted and sanded to enhance their beauty and some are handmade from vintage items or are inspired by a vintage style...

I grew up reading Nancy Drew and Agatha Christie mysteries, listening to classical music and playing piano. Reading is a passion I shared with my sisters and now my children. Opening a vintage shop to share these passions is a dream job for me.

Should your parcel arrived damaged, please contact me with photographs and I will respond quickly with a mutually satisfactory solution.
Payment
Shipping
All very large parcels to the USA go expedited and have a tracking number. This shipping method includes $100 insurance. Please advise if you would like any additional insurance with your parcel. Small packages will go by surface or Air to save on shipping. They will not have a tracking number. If you wish your item to go via expedited, please inform me at the time of purchase and I will invoice for the difference.
International rates (outside North America) quoted are for surface mail which will take 10 - 12 weeks. if you would like an order shipped by air, please send me a message and I will adjust the shipping! thank you!
I try to be as environmentally responsible as possible. I use recycled bubble wrap and foam when ever possible and wrap in plain brown paper. If you would like your item sent in a different manner please request it with your order.
Please allow 3-5 days from receipt of payment for item to be shipped.
Custom orders will be shipped 7-10 days from ordering depending on the availability of supplies.
If the shipping seems high to you (I agree)please email me your Postal or Zip Code and I will adjust the shipping to your specific area.I am happy to combine items to save you money on shipping charges.
Please note; two items ship for almost the same price as one so shop with a friend or purchase one as a gift to save costs!
