Material completely frayed in wash. Holes are way too small and material does not stretch whatsoever. Waste of money.

Unfortunately, this customer never contacted me about her lack of satisfaction with her purchase. Lastly, she purchased 100% wool mittens. 100% wool is to be handwashed. Anytime they're put into a washing machine/dryer they will shrink, felt and fray (which this information was provided). Had I been contacted right away if she was unhappy, I would have allowed her to return or receive a replacement. I've never had an upset customer in 5 years.

How It All Began

There is something amazing about being able to take a raw material and transform it into something beautiful as well as practical! I love finding gorgeous yarns, especially wool, and determining what it wants to become. A sweater? A hat? Maybe slippers? I find great joy when my customers are over joyed with their unique, handmade items!

I was taught how to crochet when I was young by my babysitter, but never really got "hooked" until 2010. I started out with the basics and quickly got bored with that and had to tackle more advanced stitches and techniques. Eventually, I became confident enough to start designing my very own patterns as well! My iPod/iPhone cozy was my very first...and is also my best seller!

When Gilmore Girls was on TV, I was probably their number one fan...along with my mother. We made a point to sit down every Tuesday night and watch the show together! There was one episode that had a knit-a-thon! I HAD to learn to knit! So, I went into my mother's stash, grabbed some needles and yarn and attempted to simply knit and purl back and forth! I don't think I ever really made anything...but I at least learned a new skill! Shortly after I picked up crocheting again, I was determined to actually knit an item! I've since been able to knit sweaters, hats, legwarmers, doll clothes and even lace shawls! I find it so relaxing and exhilarating all at the same time!

Today, I continue to connect with WAHM's who dye gorgeous yarns or other luxury yarn companies on the hunt for the best of yarns for my customers to create their unique, handmade items!
