About leftmade

Sales 574
On Etsy since 2018

Hi, I’m Emily, the designer/maker/collector here at Le.ft Made!

I created Le.ft Made out of a deep desire to create something magical, whimsical, and enchanted. I work with copper using a process called Electroforming, incorporating polymer and apoxie clays, natural gemstones, shells, leaves, glass, bones, and anything else I can find.

My small home-workshop is tucked away in the inner suburbs of Melbourne, and is spilling over with plants, old books, and curios procured from local flea markets. My team consists of myself, Loki and Tesla (the fluffy-cat-support-crew); and Fabian, the resident spreadsheet and logistics wizard.

Please send me a message if you have any questions about the treasures I make, I don’t bite (the cats do occasionally, but they can’t type).

Frequently asked questions
Care instructions

Please always handle my pieces carefully. Electroformed copper isn’t super flexible, and some crystals may have natural inclusions that can leave them fragile. So no dropping, stepping on, and try to avoid wearing anything pointy with anything that may catch!

Copper will oxidise over time. The copper has been sealed, but it may still darken with wear. To delay this do not submerge, or allow to come into contact with sprays and perfumes. Clean with a soft dry cloth.

Sometimes copper can leave a blue stain on the skin. This is natural and harmless, and only happens to some people, dependent on personal skin chemistry! It’ll wash off with soap and water. The sealant should prevent this, but pieces such as rings may still do this.

Custom and personalised orders

If you’re after a custome piece feel free to message me! Everything I make is one of a kind, because of the process I use - but I’m happy to make similar pieces to ones which have sold out, or new pieces to meet personal requirements.

Gift wrapping and packaging

Please let me know if your order is a gift, and I’ll be sure to wrap it up for you extra fancy!
