the lupidupi family today

lupidupi - happily handmade in melbourne

hi and welcome to lupidupi, the pencil jewellery!

we lupidupis are a growing family. we are all handmade by uli, a happy crafty girl in melbourne.

in 2014 uli made the first necklace from real color pencils to give to her daughters.
little isabel and amelie loved it and so did her friends. but not only the kids thought this necklace was a little special, their mums wanted one too!

and everything went from there...

our creator kept playing and tweaking us. she found the perfect pencils, improved the process of cutting, sanding, drilling, gluing and finishing. she came up with new combinations and designs.

her whole family gave us our name, inspired by their oldest called luis - nicknamed lupa.

she took lots of bright pictures from us (she happens to be photographer too!) and created this shop and a website to get us out into the world!

since then we keep bringing color, quirkiness and fun into the life of people small and tall.

look around, give us to a special loved one, put a smile on a little ones face or just treat yourself...
