Fun fact: My daughter is a Clubfoot Cutie and Hip Kid which has inspired me to digitise and share many of the sewing patterns that I have used to fit with her boots and bar and pavlik harness.

Frequently asked questions
Difficulty levels
Each matchy matchy pattern has a difficulty level to help you choose your next sewing challenge:
BEGINNER
You've gone on a first date with your sewing machine and know the basic functions, knobs and stitches. You are ready to learn how to use a pattern and sew something more challenging than a pillowcase.
ADVENTUROUS BEGINNER
You have made a few garments or items that don't fall apart at the seams. You'd like to challenge yourself with adding zippers, buttonholes and working on the bias.
INTERMEDIATE
You can confidently follow directions on sewing things like collars and sleeves.
ADVANCED
You like to mix and match, "hack" or "mashup" patterns together to create your own
Sizing details
All of our patterns highlight the key body measurements you should take from your model before deciding which size to sew.
Don’t assume a Size 4 matchy matchy pattern is the same as a Size 4 from a store (they all have their own non-standardised sizing... So frustrating!!!). We use a derivative of the ASTM International standard table of body measurements.
View the About section of our Etsy store for a guide on measuring your child's body and deciding which matchy matchy size to sew.
Before purchasing a pattern
You'll need to:
* install a PDF reader such as Adobe reader (https://get.adobe.com/reader)
* own an A4 or US Letter home printer and paper
* have on hand sticky tape, scissors and a paper trimmer/guillotine (optional).
About your purchase
Please be aware, you are purchasing digital instruction and pattern files, not a finished physical garment
Unless stated in the listing description, all matchy matchy sewing patterns come with two .PDF files:
* an instruction file
* a layered pattern file with the option to print one or more sizes at a time.
View the instruction file on a mobile device or computer. This file also has step by step instructions on how to select sizes when printing your pattern file. The first page of the pattern file gives instructions on assembling the printed pattern.
Storing your printed patterns
Each pattern comes with printable envelope labels to help store and organise your patterns. You will need to purchase C5 (or larger) sized envelopes from your local office supplier.
1. Open the instruction file and print either page one for metric measurements or page two for imperial measurements.
2. Cut along the centre dotted line and attach labels to either side of your envelope.
3. Insert your pattern pieces into the envelope for storage.
