Announcement   This is my collection of fine, hand crochet: Extra Long Scarves are my specialty. Scarves, Infinity Scarves, Hats, Caps, Fingerless Gloves, Wraps, Cowls, Lap Robes, Thick Yarn, Chunky, Wool, Hypoallergenic Alpaca, Acrylic and Cotton yarns are the types I use in my crochet. McCoy Knits, my shop, offers the fine hand crochet that I have made.
I Love to create beautiful accessories like woolen Scarves, Fingerless Gloves, Mini Scarves, Shawls, Wraps, Hats, Beanies and Caps. I crochet knit using organic and natural Wool, Cotton, hypoallergenic Alpaca, Acrylic and blend yarns.

I also crochet a mix of Coffee Cup Cozies, Toilet Paper & Tissue box Cozies, Cell phone Bags and little soft pouches to hold tea bags or sugar packets inside your purse or pocket. Anything you need a cover for I can crochet it - or I will try.

I would be more than happy to crochet you any of these items in Cotton, cashmere, alpaca, or Wool. I will take custom orders for different colors, sizes, and yarns.

I LOVE TO CROCHET

I love to crochet. I started this shop to make it easier for you to find the "Just Right" color and type of scarf. Did I mention that I LOVE to crochet.
I love soft yarns. I love to crochet extra long scarves. Tall people need a scarf that looks good on them and drapes properly. Oversize scarves are trending.
I love working with Alpaca and Wool yarns.
The scarves turn out soft and fluffy, warm and comfy.
Now I make Hats to match the scarves.
I enjoy drinking Starbucks coffee but the trouble had always been the hot coffee burned my fingers, so of course I crocheted a coffee cup cover.
When you take bottled water along wherever you go you need a carrier tote, so I crochet those also.
I enjoy making custom orders. If you don't see something you might like to ask me if I can make it for you. I will learn how to make new items because someone has asked me to try making them one.

Crocheting Scarves is my favorite thing to do while I sit and enjoy the peaceful times. I live near the ocean and often sit outside in the sunshine, glad that I have retired and I can crochet full time, now.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalised orders
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
  • Items on sale
I do want you to love what you receive from me. I prefer not permitting returns nor refunds. You should make a commitment to your purchase. Since Etsy prefers we sellers allow returns I will limit my policy and say that there must be a terrible error on my part to request a return/refund.
THE ITEM MUST NOT HAVE BEEN WORN.

Return Policy: I always strive to make you happy about your purchase. If there is a horrible problem with your item you can return it for a refund. I will accept the return of an item in the original condition I mailed it to you for a full refund on the returned item, less shipping costs. The buyers pays shipping BOTH ways on returned items unless there has been a terrible error on my part.

Exchanges and refunds: You can request an exchange/refund for limited reasons. For example: If you ordered wool and discovered you are deathly allergic to wool, but didn't know that before you ordered, and you have not used the item, I would allow an exchange but not a refund.
Return it for an exchange/refund and you pay all shipping and handling costs incurred there and back and the new items shipping also.

Refund/Replacement of items lost in transit will not be issued until 6 weeks after shipment. This will allow both me and the buyer time to research where it might have been lost.

If an item has been damaged in the mail, and if you've paid to have it mailed by Priority mail, then the post office will refund the cost. Let me know right away so I can file a claim with them. Unfortunately, First Class mail isn't insured and damage caused by the post office can't be refunded. You will have to contact the post office to file a claim.

I have included measurements of the items in the ad. Therefore, incorrect measurements read from your end are not permitted as a reason for a refund. Get out your tape measure and check my measurements with your requirements.

I have taken pictures of each item and included them in the ad.
I can take more pictures if you need them. Upon occasion my camera is sometimes blurry, I apologize for that.

I will mail International, again, only Priority has insurance. EU buyers have a 14 day return policy according to EU laws. Contact me immediately upon receiving an item, before the 14th day has occurred. You should know right away if the item is different from what you ordered. This does not apply to Custom orders.
Hats, Scarves, and any items in contact with the body are not included in allowed returns due to hygiene.
Once you have opened the sealed plastic bag the right to return is negated.
Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.
Payment
Your Payments are made through Paypal or Etsy Checkout. I expect payment at the time that the purchase is made. I will then ship orders the next business day after payment is received, unless the post office is closed.

DON"T HAVE A PAYPAL ACCOUNT?
You don't have to have a Paypal account? That's ok you can still use Paypal to purchase your order using a credit card (Visa, MC, Amex, Discover) . During checkout, click Pay with Paypal. Be sure to click the big green PAYPAL button at the last Etsy checkout page to take you to the Paypal page. On the Paypal log-in page, there is a little section on the left side above some Credit Card icons that says "Don't have a Paypal Account?" Click that, then follow the instructions to complete your purchase.

Shipping
I will be shipping everything by the US Post Office. I prefer to ship by Priority Mail which is safe and fast and provides insurance.

I will mail by First class mail if they are small or lightweight. The First Class has no insurance, so be aware of that. If there is a problem in transport or delivery, it wouldn't be covered. If you prefer I mail your item First Class with insurance, let me know in advance so we can make arrangements for that before check out.
