Hello Lovelies, my name is Mim. I love sewing and I have been sewing since I was old enough to hold a needle.

In 2008 I bought a pattern for a sock owl from Etsy and that was the beginning of my sock doll journey. I began exploring with socks, making animals and dolls. In 2013 I wrote my first sock doll pattern and I began teaching sock doll workshops.

Now sock doll designing, creating and pattern making is something I am doing 5 days a week. I love my Etsy shop. I use #lovemyetsyshop on my instagram account @sew_in_the_moment all the time, because it is so true for me.

Just the other day I had the pleasure of meeting two of my Etsy admirers. They came over for a workshop. I really enjoy helping people begin their sock doll making journey.

Being a part of Etsy is a privilege for me. I love and value the community of artisans, they inspire and encourage me on a daily basis.

I ask my friends and family to buy me socks for Birthdays, Mothers' Day and Christmas
I often visit the store around the corner to buy more wool felt or Valdani Thread
