Original work is insured and tracked therefore there will be a process with USPS (US) or Royal Mail (UK)(this can take some time) to find out where your painting is.

Returns
Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be undamaged and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and viewed, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace same items if they are defective or damaged via shipping. Photo of damage will be requested. Same item exchange only. Send us an email at cate [!at] cateparr.com for details where to return your purchase.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he/she will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

**You may be responsible for duty fees charged at customs. These vary from country to country and are completely beyond my control.
These costs are not included in shipping. We keep packing and handling costs to a minimum, therefore helping you with custom costs if applied by your country.

**INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING. Delivery times vary country to country. If shipping UPS or DHL you will be sent a tracking number once your purchase has shipped.

IN THE US - USPS service, UPS or FedEx. Tracking will be sent to you once your purchase has shipped.

CANVAS PRINTS are shipped FedEx Ground. Time frames for East, Central & West coast vary - information is in the item description.

SHIPPING & PAYPAL - please make sure your shipping address is correct on your Etsy invoice - sometimes there is a different address attached to your paypal account.

All Art and Prints are shipped carefully to arrive in pristine condition to their destination.

LARGE PRINTS & ART WORK are usually shipped in an art tube to protect the edges from being damaged. Flat shipping is expensive but can be arranged if you let me know and you wish to upgrade your shipping costs.

ALL ORIGINAL PAINTINGS are INSURED.

My goal is to give you first class service! I aim to get your order out as soon as possible. As soon as your item is purchased - varying by item it is a 3 day turnaround.
I cannot take responsibility for lost mail but I will also do my best to replace a sale if this happens. Original art work is always insured.

My shipping rates include shipping, shipping tracking, handling and packaging costs.

Museum Grade, archival paper and inks are used in all ORIGINAL ART & PRINTS.

HOW to take care of your PRINTS

I can not express enough times ...
1. Use acid free mats with your print.
2. Do not hang in a bright room and certainly not where sun falls onto the print.
3. Rooms with Humidity and Excessive Heat - Dont do it!

A good picture frame not only compliments your print but it will also protect it. Acid-free mats are used to prevent the glass from touching the surface of the print and these must be of archival quality.

Do not hang prints over radiators or air vents as heat changes can affect the print and can be responsible for the warping of the paper.

Avoid direct sunlight; prolonged exposure will cause the print to fade and the paper will yellow.

Prints should be hung with a slight forward tilt to leave space for air to circulate behind it.

Alterations due to light damage
Exposure to direct sunlight causes yellowing of the print and damage to the tones.
Yellowing is a natural oxidation of an old print. However, if not exposed to sunlight, prints will not become excessively yellow.

Damage due to humidity
The damage done by humidity is one of the most ruinous for prints not only because it favours the growth of bacteria but also because it will make the paper buckle, dissolve the sizing, destroy the assembled pieces (glued backings, etc.) and provoke the formation of spots and water marks.

Damage due to excessive heat
The destructive effects of heat are often closely associated to excessive dryness and to excessive humidity. When heat is very dry, paper becomes very brittle and friable and the coloured areas as well as the inks become scaly.
When heat is very damp, various kinds of plant life may begin to develop.
If the temperature rises excessively, the "burned" paper turns reddish or leaves a well known brownish border area.

CANVAS PRINTS are museum quality and will last 100 plus without fading or peeling when display indoors - they should not be used outdoors at any time. They are waterproof and abrasion resistant - however - like any piece of art it must be handled with care while transporting and hanging.
Do not scrape or rub corners on any surface! Keep bubble wrap corner protectors and the poly bag around your canvas when transporting.
DO NOT put CARDBOARD on the face of your print. It behaves like sandpaper and it will rub the ink off. CARDBOARD IS ENEMY # 1.

Screen colors: I adjust colors in photoshop whilst looking at the original art. It can be tricky so occasionally the base color looks slightly more cream than white.
Please be aware that colors vary from monitor to monitor.
