Architect to teacher to card designer - life is a cycle.
When I was studying architecture at university, I was involved with a handcraft cooperative selling the mobiles I made. This was very rewarding and I enjoyed both the creating and the selling aspects.
Having completed many years as an architect, I became an English as a second language teacher which gave me a lot more spare time to explore other areas of design. My boss commissioned me to design a few cards. This led to a new creative enthusiasm and I started to sell them online.
My inspirations come from things I see around me. Patterns and textures in nature and the built environment are my inspiration. I like to play with geometric shapes and see where that leads for a new design.

Shop policies
Many of of card designs can be personalised. Choose from the options given in the listing. If the option you want is not listed, please contact me as I usually can make a special order for you.
I believe in using as many environmentally friendly products as possible, but not exclusively. You will often see me cycling or walking around the city looking for new ideas or buying materials.

- Perishable products (like food or flowers)
- Digital downloads
- Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
If an incorrect item has been sent, I will send the correct item at no extra cost.
If an item is received damaged, please contact me right away to discuss the situation. To avoid damage, the item is enclosed in a cellophane sleeve which protects it from light moisture damage. A cardboard insert is put in the envelope to minimize the chance of bending. The outside of the envelope is stamped "PLEASE DO NOT BEND." Thus I don't usually refund for damaged in transit items.
If an item is lost in transit, please contact me to discuss as each situation is assessed on the facts.
Payment
All ETSY payment methods are accepted at time you order.
TAXES:
AUSTRALIAN ORDERS: No taxes required.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: You are responsible for any taxes and customs tariffs that may be incurred.
My cards are considered as printed matter and therefore the letters are stamped “PRINTED MATTER ONLY” and no customs form is required.
My prints (other than A4, 8 x 10 sizes) are considered as merchandise. I am obliged by law to mark "merchandise" on the customs forms (sorry!).
CANCELLATIONS:
These can be made within 30 minutes of your order and payment and you will receive a full (100%) refund of the item and postage costs. Cancellations made after that time are subject to whether your item has been made and posted. I try to process your item very quickly, so this is often the case and no refund is possible. If the item is a standard item and made but not posted, I will refund 75% of the item cost and all the postage fee. If your personalised item is made but not posted, I will refund 50% of the item cost plus all the postage fee.

USA - EST - 10pm the day before USA - PST - 7pm the day before UK - 3am the same day
PACKAGING:
CARDS
The card is wrapped in a cellophane bag to minimise the chance water damage.
Cards are sent in standard sized envelopes. A stiff cardboard insert is used to minimise the chance of damage to the card. The envelope is stamped with “PLEASE DO NOT BEND.”
PRINTS
The print is wrapped in a cellophane bag to minimise the chance water damage.
A4 or 8x10 prints are sent in standard sized envelopes. A stiff cardboard insert is used to minimise the chance of damage to the print. The envelope is stamped with “PLEASE DO NOT BEND.”
Larger prints are sent rolled inside a cardboard tube.
DELIVERY METHOD: Australia Post standard domestic and international airmail services are used. Tracking is included.

As cards are time sensitive, I send FREE a PDF of the artwork so you can print a temporary card locally if any delays cause a problem with your required date.
EXPRESS POST UPGRADE - AUSTRALIA
Express Post is available as an option during checkout.
EXPRESS POST UPGRADE - INTERNATIONAL
Please contact me with your location, if you require a quotation for an express post upgrade. This is a very expensive option and varies considerably depending on your location.
YOUR CORRECT ADDRESS: Please ensure your ETSY postal address is correct as that is the address the item will be posted to. You are responsible for any additional costs if the address given is incorrect.
