Announcement    *CHRISTMAS ORDER UPDATE*

If you are ordering from outside Australia as of November 19th, I cannot promise your package will arrive in time for the holidays. Australia Post and all customs are running slow right now and are quite volatile. I'm looking for a faster courier solution in 2021!

Time traveling through history to find women of the past.

The Exploress podcast time travels back through women's history to find out what it was like really like to be them.

I love learning about fascinating women in history, but often it feels like I’m appreciating them in a vacuum. I always want to know more: what kind of underwear and beauty products were they dealing with? What rights did they have and not have? What was expected of them, and how and why did women subvert the roles they were told to embody? The Exploress journeys with everyday women - spiritualist mediums, soldiers, nurses, you name it - and re-examines famous biographies, all with a focus on what it was like to be a lady in a certain time and place. So far we've traveled to mid-19th century America and some segments of the ancient world, with many more to come.

This shop celebrates some of the women we've covered on the podcast and aims to illuminate their lives and times. Want an ancient world timeline that celebrates women for a change? You've got it. Want a pack of female-focused greeting cards that delight and inspire? Can do. I'm all about sharing the stories of amazing women and making them more accessible to everyone.

Frequently asked questions
Why is shipping so expensive?

Because shipping things from Australia just doesn't come cheap! I keep my shipping prices as low as I can for you, especially for those buying outside of Australia. To get the best deal on greeting cards, I've made it so that they only sell in packs. That gives you more cards for your money and helps me cover shipping costs.

Custom and personalised orders

I'm happy to sign your art print for you, and I'm always game to design a new lady art print if you'd like (check out my You-Choose art print listing). If you'd like to commission a timeline of other poster-style graphic, I'd love to hear from you! However, I won't make any changes to greeting cards, maps or timelines. What you see is what you get.

Are the colors I'm seeing on screen true to life?

I do my best to represent colors accurately, but a lot of what you're seeing depends on what kind of screen you're using. There may be slight variations between the pictures on screen and the finished product, but they should only be minor.

How quickly can I expect my order?

I currently ship items out once a week, so it should be in the mail to you quickly. That said, current shipping times have slowed RIGHT down because of COVID-related shipping issues in both Australia and elsewhere, so I can't promise you speedy delivery. Art prints are often made to order at my cute local printery, which adds around five days onto delivery time. If you need an order quickly, please let me know and I'll do what I can.

Care instructions

I love the recycled paper my posters are printed on, but I find they can be easy to dent around your fingers if you're not careful. Be careful when you ease them out of their mailing tube and always try and hold them at the corners to avoid any denting.

There's a woman I want a print or card of who isn't in your shop. Can I request her?

Please do! I tend to grow my collection to coincide with what I'm doing over on the podcast, but 'm currently working on a few collages that shoppers have requested and I'm always happy to take new ideas on board.
