welcome
pull up a chair, I've just put the kettle on.
Everything on tummy mountain is done on tummy mountain. I draw, paint, scan and print it all from my little cottage. I look out the door at the overgrown meadow. Sometimes I make a cup of tea.
Occasionally the little ones on tummy mountain climb a tree. I sketch out the scene as it occurs then paint with gouache, watercolours, pencils and inks until I feel that I have done the little ones justice. The little ones are talking to a frog in the pond.
I crank the handle and wind up the machine. Lights flicker and flare, wheels whirr and the picture is now inside the contraption. The little ones stand back in awe. Somehow the picture goes by telephone cable out to the world. The little ones unplug the cable and look and look but we can’t see how it’s done.
The man with the blue cap says hello and brings me my Hahnemuhle paper. I hold up the beautiful thick 310gsm paper to the light and stroke the watercolour textured paper with my rough thumb. The paper is of the highest quality, acid free archival paper. The man with the blue cap waves goodbye.
We make a hot cup of cocoa and then extract the picture out of the machine. The little ones press every button they can see. The extremely very high resolution printer uses archival inks on the paper. Everyone is quite pleased with themselves. The inks are tested and guaranteed to last over 75 years. I wonder how big my tummy will be then.
Colours may appear ever so slightly different as everybody’s computer monitors vary.

A wee tug boats draws up to the jetty. I stand on the old grey planks and hand the captain a rigid mailer. The captain is impressed by how sturdy it is. I say that the print inside is in a plastic sleeve. The captain says it will be able to weather the arctic storms on its journey away from tummy mountain. It is a day or two after the piggy bank oinked to say that payment was received.
All items will be shipped within 2 working days of payment. Though sometimes, sometimes dear reader, it takes a couple of extra days because, sometimes, and you may have noticed this yourself over the course of things, sometimes life does not go according to plan. This is very rare but I mention it here in case.

Hello Fellow Tummies,
Sometimes people love tummy mountain so much, but they would like the picture with a wee change – a girl changed to a boy, a cat into their dog, a colour of the sky changed, or another wee one added, or perhaps in a different size picture. We are very official on tummy mountain so here is the process;
There are two types of custom tummies;
1. A print in a different size - larger or smaller.
2. A minor adaption of an existing print.
Let's have a wee look at those options.
1. Changing sizes
Most of my pictures can be made bigger or smaller and to fit into standard frames or mounts or even a custom frame or mount if you like
Here are some rough size estimates:
5½ x 3½ = $17 (fits into a standard 8 x 10 inch frame for a 5 x 7 inch image)
6 x 8¼ = $28 (fits into a standard 11 x 14 inch frame for an 8 x 10 inch image)
10¼ x 14½ = $54 fits into a standard 16 x 20 inch frame for a 12 x 16 inch image)
I haven't enlarged all my pictures to the larger sizes so I would have to check to see if that is possible first.
I hope that helps, and makes sense.
2. Minor Adaptions
The colour of the background, removing or adding a little one, changing a little one from a girl to a boy, or adding their pet dog, mouse or rhino. These kind of changes use the existing tummy mountain prints and cost as little as $5 depending on complexity, and usually no more than $20.
