Please be aware International Parcels may have taxes, custom fees and duties, which are the responsibility of the buyer. Items that are returned due to unpaid duty/ unclaimed are not eligible for a refund. Please check prior to sale your countries specific tariffs/ fees.

Postage cost covers postage, royal mail collection cost, and packaging. Cost does not cover extra insurance, if you wish to insure your items against loss/ damage please message to purchase extra coverage before purchase as it won't be covered for full amount.

Standard post includes insurance, tracking and delivery confirmation.
Royal Mail offers insurance of up to £50 on delivery, if you wish to purchase extra insurance please message me before dispatch).

Please note sending to PO boxes/ 3rd party addresses is not covered by insurance by Royal Mail, so is at buyers own risk.

I combine postage whenever possible. Current royal mail guidelines only allow packages to be 2kg, parcels exceeding this weight will be split to keep within weight limit.

(May take longer due to Covid) Approx postage times from sent date are: 1-5 days UK/ 5 to 9 days E.U/ 7 to 21 days International (working days). Please note customs may delay parcels, please check online with the tracking reference if you are experiencing a delay with your item.

For Christmas/ Holiday deliveries I would advise ordering early and checking with your countries mail delivery dates for up to date est arrival dates.

Please be aware I cannot be responsible for lost/damaged mail as it is out of my control but a claim will be submitted in the event to recover the item/ loss (please be aware I can not guarantee outcome of claims). Claims require proof of correct address and photographs packaging/ item if damaged. As of August 2022 Etsy now compensates buyers for lost/ damaged mail under the value of £250.

Sizing: Please note all items new & vintage are typically "clipped" or "pinned" to the mannequin to show how it should fit. Please be aware of this when judging the size, and go by accurate measurements listed to determine fit. Vintage clothing sizes can differ greatly from standard sizes today, so actual measurements are listed for each item. If you are unsure about the fit of an item on the site, the easiest way to tell how it will size up is to compare the measurements to those of an item of clothing you already own that fits you well. Please ensure that you check the measurements of items before you buy to avoid disappointment. Measurements are in inches. They are taken outside the garment, laid flat, seam to seam with the fabric pulled taut. Bust, Waist & Hip measurements need to be doubled for circumference. I will provide an approx "fits like" or modern day size (based on modern sizing chart measurements). I also provide an approx conversion size for international buyers too. Please note this is a guide only to help with size, everyone has a different body size and may not fit the general sizing norms, I cannot not accept returns based on this size, it is a guide only and I ask buyers to go by exact measurements given. In cases of modern items if a garment appears to fit differently than average sizing (i.e small or larger fitting) I will mention it on the listing. As I don't offer returns due to sizing issues, please ensure that you check the measurements of items before you buy to avoid disappointment I always recommend if you do not know your measurements or are unsure of fit, to compare the measurements to those of an item of clothing you already own that fits you well to see how it compares. Please remember to consider ease of movement and allow approximately 1-2 inches on top of your actual measurements to move around and breathe inside the clothing. Please consider items with stretch will need less room, non stretch fabrics will require more room. I am happy to further advise on fit if contacted prior to sale.

Further notes on fit: Please be aware what fits as a mini, midi or maxi is based on your exact height. If you are very tall then a "mini dress" for example may be very very short on you, or if you are short it might be a lot longer. Please also note that people in the past were shorter and mini dresses were often worn micro short (usually with modesty pants). A "Tunic" or "Tunic Dress" is a garment that is somewhere between a long top and very short dress, it would typically be worn with shorts, trousers, modesty pants. Please take that into account when purchasing and do refer to exact length measurements.

Vintage fabric: Please note vintage fabrics are generally made without elastane or a stretchy fabric mix and have limited or no stretch. I'd advise sticking close to measurements to allow comfortable fit. Please allow more room for movement with such fabrics as cotton, leather, suede that have no stretch. Some fabrics such as silk or wool mixes naturally have inconsistency to their construction/ weave and may show what looks like bobbling or colour inconsistency as part of their natural weave. Please note these are not flaws and will not be mentioned. Other fabrics like vintage lace polyester or acetate rayon mixes often have a chemical or "old clothes" smell that is usual for the time period.

Vintage Condition: Please note alterations & repairs are often made to vintage items, unless this drastically alters the look of a garment in a negative way it will not be mentioned on the listing. Vintage items also may be updated with new buttons, fixings, belts etc. Stitching is often reinforced and a new zip added if the old one is broken. Condition listed will be for the exterior of the garment, unless requested condition of lining is not generally mentioned, please note vintage lining will often have discoloration (in such areas as under arms or back), areas like cuffs, collars may show wear, bobbling or minor discoloration, small pin holes or repairs, consistent with age. Vintage shoes are sold "as seen". Unfortunately it is difficult to predict how a vintage shoe, even one that is dead stock, will wear once worn. Vintage shoes are often weaker and more brittle. Heel caps and soles can often wear quickly and need replacing. There are no refunds for this after sale, please bear this in mind when bidding.
Items are sent tagged / cleaned... must be returned in same condition with tags attached/ unworn.
Items are sent in a clean ready to wear condition, and will be tagged to say so. Items will be freshly laundered or dry cleaned. Items that are specialist clean I will leave to buyer to keep purchase costs low but items will be aired out/ steam cleaned so they are as fresh as possible.
