Printing out the pattern

All seam allowance for knit fabrics using a serger/overlocker are 6mm.
All hem allowance is 1.5cm.
Cut all garments with the most stretch going around the body.
Use ballpoint needles on your machine.
A binder foot (bias binding foot) is a very, very useful attachment for your sewing machine.
A loop turner is a good investment
A punch and handheld studding machine are also useful.
Only use knitted elastic with knit fabric
Only use interfacing specially made for knit fabrics
If the sizing is European size 30 equates to an American size XS


A0 Instructions

Download the PDFs there are usually two or more, each PDF is titled.
You can print out the full pattern sheets if you have access to a printer, such as a Canon large format printer. Set this printer to print out the actual size. Print only the pages in your required size.

You can print out the pattern on a home printer in A4(letter size) sections, and stick them together.

Use Adobe Reader or Acrobat to format your print. This is free software from Adobe and can be used on any computer. Use “Print Setup” to format. Set to “Poster”, tick “Tile”, tick “Add Cut Marks” overlap to 0 or to 0.5cm. Set paper size to A4.

Print only the required size, if sizes are printed onto one sheet all lines are
color coded for easy reference and cutting. Your printer will print all necessary sections with cut marks on each numbered sheet so that you can easily stick sections together.

Print out the pattern make-up instructions and read them first, before starting your project.



A4 Instructions

A4 letter sized sections are also included in the download to print these set the printer to print “actual size” (do not choose “fit” or “shrink”). Orientation must be set to “auto” Measure the grid on the pattern which must be 1cm by 1cm for the print to be correct.
