I am an avid traveler and hopelessly inquisitive, both of which lend themselves to my true passions - art and stories. I am most in my element when I am creating works of art and/or craft that express my point of view.
I have several degrees (Psychology, Women's Studies, MSW) and have worked as a trolley operator, a political organizer, a college counselor, a case manager, and most recently as a medical social worker with transplant and palliative care patients.
My current work involves fine arts classes and developing a small fiber arts business -- The Clever Thread -- that focuses on whimsical and beautiful quilts, as well as small personal accessories.
