Het begin
The Beginning
Als worstelende student raakte ik gefrustreerd, niet alleen door de exorbitante prijzen van producten online, maar ook door de slechte kwaliteit ervan. Ik werd het zat om steeds dezelfde ontwerpen te zien op Shein, Temu en Amazon, met woekerprijzen voor producten die door onethische arbeidsomstandigheden waren gemaakt. Als ik al een fatsoenlijk product met een ethische achtergrond kon vinden, vond ik het ontwerp of de kleuren niet mooi, of het was te duur. Sommige dingen waren niet mijn stijl, andere waren niet leuk genoeg. Dus besloot ik het heft in eigen handen te nemen en mijn eigen producten te ontwerpen en de prijzen zo laag mogelijk te houden. Ik werkte samen met kunstenaars op Pinterest om mijn merk en producten samen te stellen. Het begon met handige sjablonen (die ik, als er vraag naar is, graag voor jullie maak!) en ging vervolgens over op schattige stickers, voordat ik mijn assortiment uitbreidde met andere lifestyle-items. Alle getoonde items zijn door mijzelf gemaakt, aangepast of opnieuw getekend in Canva, met Pinterest-kunst als inspiratie. Gestolen ideeën (via AI) of gestolen kunst zijn hier bij A Cozy Curation onacceptabel, dus als je hierover vragen hebt, stuur me dan een e-mail. Ik werk momenteel samen met Printify en Printful voor het maken en verzenden van de artikelen in mijn webshop. Ik heb veel liefde en zorg in mijn ontwerpen gestoken en ik hoop dat je ervan geniet! As a struggling college student, I became frustrated not only with the obscene cost of products online, but also with the poor quality of them. I got tired of seeing the same designs on Shein, Temu, and Amazon, with prices jacked up for items created by unethical labor. If I could find a decent item with an ethical background, I didn't like the design or colors, or it was too expensive. Some things weren't my style, others weren't fun enough. So, I decided to take matters into my own hands and design my own products and keep the prices as low as I could. I worked with art/artists on Pinterest to help me curate my brand and items. It began with helpful templates (which, if there is a desire for them, I can create more for you guys!) and then moved on to cute little stickers before branching out to other lifestyle items. All items shown have been created, altered, or redrawn by me on Canva with Pinterest art as my inspiration.
