Alpaca Threadz nació del deseo de marcar la diferencia en un momento de incertidumbre global. En 2020, cuando la pandemia paralizó los viajes internacionales, nuestra fundadora, LeAnn —también propietaria de una empresa de viajes de aventura—, enfocó sus esfuerzos en apoyar a las comunidades andinas de Perú y Ecuador. Con la desaparición del turismo, estos artesanos perdieron su principal fuente de ingresos. Alpaca Threadz se convirtió en un puente para conectar su increíble artesanía con el mundo.
Somos una empresa ética y de comercio justo dedicada a preservar las tradiciones de los artesanos andinos que elaboran mantas, ropa y accesorios de lana de alpaca en regiones montañosas remotas. Al llevar su trabajo directamente a ti, contribuimos a crear medios de vida sostenibles a la vez que protegemos un legado cultural transmitido de generación en generación.
Alpaca Threadz también devuelve el 10% de sus ganancias directamente a estas familias, ayudándolas a continuar con sus negocios, educar a sus hijos y fortalecer sus comunidades.

Alpaca Threadz was born from a desire to make a difference during a moment of global uncertainty. In 2020, when the pandemic brought international travel to a halt, our founder LeAnn—also the owner of an adventure travel company—shifted her energy toward supporting the Andean communities of Peru and Ecuador. With tourism gone, these artisans lost their primary source of income. Alpaca Threadz became a bridge to connect their incredible craftsmanship with the world.
We are a fair trade, ethical company dedicated to preserving the traditions of Andean artisans who handcraft alpaca wool blankets, clothing, and accessories in remote mountain regions. By bringing their work directly to you, we help create sustainable livelihoods while protecting a cultural legacy that has been passed down for generations.
Alpaca Threadz also gives back 10% of profits directly to these families, helping them continue their businesses, educate their children, and strengthen their communities.
