Wat begon als een familieproject is nu uitgegroeid tot een familiebedrijf! Barndominium Design is een familiebedrijf van mij en mijn man. Zo begon het allemaal: in 2018 gingen mijn man en ik trouwen, maar trouwlocaties zijn extreem duur in onze regio. Mijn schoonvader wilde altijd een schuur en destijds was een barndominium zijn oplossing voor onze huwelijksreceptie. Barndominiums waren toen niet zo populair als nu. Het vinden van een bouwer en andere benodigde informatie bracht zijn eigen uitdagingen met zich mee, maar als gezin hebben we het gehaald. Het familie-barndominium was voltooid en we organiseerden daar onze trouwlocatie. Mijn man, zwager en schoonvader werken bij dezelfde bank, waar ze een van de beste barndominiumleningprogramma's van het land hebben samengesteld. Via hun hypotheekwebsite en YouTube-kanaal inspireerden de toestroom van vragen en de behoefte aan informatie hen om iets te creëren dat mensen kan helpen. Zo ontstond Barndominium Design. Het doel van Barndominium Design is om mensen te helpen met hun bouwproject en hen zo tijd en geld te besparen.
What started as a family project has now turned into a family business! Barndominium Design is a family-run business owned by me and my husband. Here's how it all began: In 2018, my husband and I were getting married, but wedding venues are extremely expensive in our area. My father-in-law always wanted a pole barn, and at the time, a barndominium was his solution to where we would have our wedding reception. Barndominiums were not as popular then as they are today. Finding a builder and other necessary information presented its own challenges, but as a family, we prevailed. The family barndominium was completed, and we hosted our wedding venue there. My husband, brother-in-law, and father-in-law work at the same bank, where they have put together one of the top barndominium loan programs in the country. Through their mortgage website and YouTube channel, the influx of questions and desire for information inspired them to create something that can help people. Thus, Barndominium Design came to be. Barndominium Design's goal is to help people get started on their builds, saving them time and money.
