Ik werk met cyanotypie, een historisch fotografisch proces dat in de 19e eeuw werd ontdekt en dat lichtgevoelige chemie en de kracht van de zon gebruikt om afdrukken in rijk indigoblauw te maken. Elk werkstuk begint met het handmatig coaten van papier, het plaatsen van geperste botanische ingrediënten en het laten transformeren van de natuur door zonlicht tot kunst – geen twee werken zijn ooit precies hetzelfde.
In deze winkel komt mijn liefde voor papierwaren en design tot leven. Van notitiekaartjes en ansichtkaarten tot kleine prints, elk stuk is zowel functioneel als kunstzinnig: iets om te versturen, te delen of te bewaren. Welcome to Indigo & Ink, a space where the magic of sunlight meets the permanence of paper. I work with cyanotype, a historic photographic process discovered in the 1800s that uses light-sensitive chemistry and the power of the sun to create prints in rich indigo blue. Each piece begins with hand-coating paper, placing pressed botanicals, and letting sunlight transform nature into art — no two are ever exactly alike.
