Great quality, perfect for collectors

Beautiful, poignant and timely collection. What an honor to see the Refaat Mobile Library featured, too. 🍉♥️

The artist, Gianluca Costantini, describes his work past and present in the book's short intro. He writes, "Over the years, I have deepened my historical and political knowledge of several countries...: Turkey, Egypt, Bahrain, China, Belarus, Libya, Eritrea, Saudi Arabia, and Palestine. These are places where human rights are a crime, where tolerance is not allowed. [...] I am a free artist, drawing for those who can no longer express their freedom." This is a beautiful, moving, uniquely illustrated book. I highly recommend "Active Art Yearbook 2024" on so many levels - humanitarian, political and artistic. (I was pleasantly surprised to find an entry for Leonard Peltier whose life sentence was commuted by outgoing President Biden. #FreeAllPoliticalPrisoners)
