Mio figlio maggiore aveva 3,5 anni quando nacquero i suoi fratelli gemelli. Portarli tutti al negozio è stata una sfida, soprattutto considerando che il più vecchio ha l'autismo. All'epoca aveva problemi di controllo degli impulsi e tendeva a scappare spesso. Continuavo a dire che avrei voluto poter prendere la loro imbracatura da 5 pt dal seggiolino auto nel carrello della spesa. Voilà, è nata un'idea.
Il primo prodotto si chiamava Straps & Wraps per i carrelli della spesa. Puoi usarlo una volta che un bambino può sedersi nel carrello a circa 6-8 mesi di età.
Dopo di che è arrivato l'Harness Helper per il seggiolino auto. Il mio BFF e socio in affari ha anche due gemelli e i suoi continuavano a fuggire dai loro seggiolini auto. Viene anche utilizzato sulle imbracature del passeggino.
Dopo ripetute richieste dei clienti per un'imbracatura per seggiolone, ho adattato il prodotto del carrello della spesa per lavorare su quei seggioloni in legno del ristorante.
Realizzo tutte le imbracature nel mio ufficio / officina a casa. Sono tutti fatti su ordinazione, quindi impiegano un paio di giorni per la spedizione. Lavoro anche a tempo pieno e ho quei 3 ragazzi da trasportare, quindi siamo una casa molto affollata. Cucio dopo che tutti vanno a letto e nei fine settimana.
My oldest son was 3.5 yrs old when his twin brothers were born. Taking them all out to the store was a challenge especially considering the oldest has Autism. At the time he had impulse control issues and tended to run away often. I just kept saying I wish I could take their 5pt harness from the car seat into the shopping cart. Voila, an idea was born.
The first product was called Straps & Wraps for shopping carts. You can use it once a baby can sit in the cart at around 6-8 months of age.
After that came the Harness Helper for the car seat. My BFF and business partner also has twins and hers kept escaping from their car seats. It is also used on stroller harnesses.
After repeated customer requests for a high chair harness I adapted the shopping cart product to work on those wooden restaurant high chairs.
I make all the harnesses in my home office/workshop. They are all made to order so they take a couple of days to ship. I also work full time and have those 3 boys to shuttle around so we are a very busy house. I sew after everyone goes to bed and on weekends.
