Durante años, las palabras "Crear esperanza" han sido una fuerza apasionada que me ayuda a vivir mi vida. ¿Para qué más estamos aquí en esta gran bola azul aparte de crear esperanza e inspirar a otros, y hacerlo todo para la gloria de Dios?
Todo. Todo lo que somos, todo lo que hacemos, cada talento, incluso cada tragedia puede inspirar de alguna manera a otros y, en última instancia, mostrar el amor de Dios. Realmente lo creo. Es la forma en que trato de vivir mi vida. No siempre tengo éxito y me equivoco a menudo, ¡pero quiero compartir brevemente con mis lectores y esta comunidad cómo el Señor me ha dado una nueva vía para inspirar a la gente!
Trabajo con niños con necesidades especiales de edad primaria durante el año escolar. Sabiendo que necesitaría un trabajo de verano, comencé a buscar y orar. Escribí en mi diario de oración: "Dios, ¿cómo voy a hacer malabares con todo? No puedo dejar a los niños solos todo el día, ni quiero. Tú eres el Padre de la creatividad. ¿Compartirás algo de eso conmigo para que pueda tener ingresos y aún así pasar el verano con mi familia?"
Entonces, esa oración provocó una serie de eventos que han llevado a esto. Crea puños de esperanza.
Mi familia y yo (y una parte de nuestra ciudad, ¡ja!) estamos constantemente en la búsqueda de cinturones de cuero viejos. ¿Por qué? Porque los estoy reciclando en pulseras de puño de cuero para vender localmente y en línea. Sí, nos lo pasamos de maravilla con este concierto de verano... tanto que lo convertimos en un negocio en toda regla. Y ahora, casi dos años después, el crecimiento ha sido tan increíble, se ha convertido en mi trabajo más que a tiempo completo y tenemos varios asistentes de producción.
Lo que hace que los puños de cuero de Create Hope Cuffs sean diferentes del resto son las palabras inspiradoras personalizadas que inscribo letra por letra en cada uno de ellos. ¡Estoy agradecido de decir que no todo mi entrenamiento vino de google, youtube o Pinterest! A través de un poco de prueba, error y oración, Dios me mostró una manera realmente genial de agregar técnicas que son todas mías. ¡Aleluya para la creatividad nacida de la desesperación y la perseverancia!
Me encanta todo el proceso: encontrar los cinturones con mi familia, recrearlos en pulseras, agregar las palabras inspiradoras correctas, compartir mi historia, venderlos y proporcionar ingresos para mi familia y posiblemente la parte MÁS emocionante ...
Somos capaces de DAR como nunca antes!!! Las ganancias de Create Hope Cuffs, a través de Children's HopeChest, van a nuestra querida Comunidad Bheveni en Swazilandia, África. Cada pulsera que compres ayuda a promover sus oportunidades educativas. En Swazilandia, la matrícula debe pagarse para aprender a leer y escribir. Si un niño es huérfano o varios niños son criados por una madre soltera, ¿cómo pueden pagar la alfabetización cuando satisfacer las necesidades básicas de la vida ya son un desafío? ¡Así que nuestro Fondo B.E.S.T. (Bheveni Educational Scholarship Trust) está establecido y está ayudando a mantener a casi 200 niños en la escuela cada año! ¡Alabado sea el Señor!
Así que cada vez que compras un brazalete inspirador, no solo te inspira a ti, sino que le está enseñando a un niño a leer y escribir y a valorar su potencial.

Y la idea fue dada por Dios, Él me ayudó a encontrar un talento que ni siquiera sabía que tenía, y Él guía mis manos a través de cada paso del proceso. El estampado de cuero no es fácil y a veces mis dedos se golpean en lugar del sello (¡ay!), o un chasquido vuela y me golpea en el ojo, pero bueno, ¡todavía me encanta!
Una cosa más: me ha impresionado la cantidad de pedidos personalizados / personalizados que llegan. En un mundo de bombardeo casi constante de mensajes negativos... necesitamos verdad y luz. Sabiduría. Serenidad. Radiante. Brilla tu luz (¡para toda una familia!) Orgulloso de mi marine. Attraversiamo (Crucemos). Vale más que el oro. Quédate quieto y sabe que soy Dios.
Todas estas palabras (y más) elegidas por personas que quieren llevar inspiración en la manga. Porque todos necesitamos recordatorios de nuestros seres queridos, recordatorios para seguir avanzando, recordatorios para orar, recordatorios de que PODEMOS vivir esta vida y toda su plenitud. Las palabras son especiales. Solo pregúntale a Dios, así es como Él ha elegido a través de los siglos para comunicarse con nosotros, a través de Su Palabra, tanto escrita como hablada. Así que sí, las palabras tienen poder. Y meditar en las palabras correctas tiene un poder aún mayor.
¿Dije que esto iba a ser breve? :) ¡Ja! Imposible.

For years now, the words ‘Create Hope’ have been a passionate force which helps me live my life. What else are we here on this big blue ball for other than to create hope & inspire others, and to do it all for the glory of God?
All. Everything we are, everything we do, every talent, even every tragedy can somehow inspire others and ultimately show God’s love. I truly believe this. It’s the way I try to live my life. I don’t always succeed & I get it wrong often, but I want to briefly share with my readers & this community how the Lord has given me a new avenue to inspire people!
I work with elementary-aged special needs children during the school year. Knowing I’d need a summer job, I began searching & praying. I wrote in my prayer journal, “God, how am I gonna juggle everything? I can’t leave the kids alone all day, nor do I want to. You are the Father of creativity. Will you share some of it with me so I can have income and still spend the summer with my family?”
So, that prayer sparked a series of events that has led to this. Create Hope Cuffs.
My family & I (and a portion of our town, ha!) are constantly on the search for old leather belts. Why? Because I’m upcycling them into leather cuff bracelets to sell locally & online. Yep, we had a blast with this summer gig... so much that we turned it into a full fledged business. And now, nearly two years later, the growth has been so incredible, it's become my more-than-full time job and we have several production assistants.
What makes Create Hope Cuffs leather cuffs different from the rest are the personalized inspirational words I inscribe letter by letter into each of them. I’m thankful to say not all of my training came from google, youtube or Pinterest!! Through some trial, error & prayer, God showed me a really cool way to add techniques that are all my own. Hallelujah for creativity birthed out of desperation and perseverance!
I love the entire process – finding the belts with my family, recreating them into bracelets, added just the right inspirational words, sharing my story, selling them and providing income for my family and possibly the MOST exciting part...
We are able to GIVE like never before!!! Create Hope Cuffs proceeds, through Children's HopeChest, go to our beloved Bheveni Community in Swaziland, Africa. Every bracelet you buy helps further their educational opportunities. In Swaziland, tuition must be paid in order to learn to read & write. If a child is orphaned or multiple children being raised by a single mother, how can they afford literacy when meeting life’s basic needs are already a challenge? So our B.E.S.T. (Bheveni Educational Scholarship Trust) Fund is set in place & is helping to keep nearly 200 kids in school every year! Praise the Lord!

And the idea was God-given, He helped me find a talent I didn’t even know I had, and He guides my hands through each step of the process. Leather stamping isn’t easy & sometimes my fingers get pounded instead of the stamp (ouch!), or a snap flies off & hits me in the eye, but hey, I’m still loving it!
One more thing: I’ve been blown away by how many custom/personalized orders coming in. In a world of near constant bombardment of negative messages... we need truth & light. Wisdom. Serenity. Radiant. Shine Your Light (for a whole family!) Proud of My Marine. Attraversiamo (Lets Cross Over). Worth more than Gold. Be still & know I am God.
All these words (& more) chosen by people who want to wear inspiration on their sleeve. Because we all need reminders of loved ones, reminders to keep moving forward, reminders to pray, reminders that we CAN live this life and all its fullness. Words are special. Just ask God, that’s how He’s chosen through the ages to communicate with us – through His Word, both written & spoken. So yeah, words have power. And meditating on the right words have even greater power.
Did I say this was going to be brief? :) Ha! Impossible.
