Hallo.
Mein Name ist Mathew und ich lebe im Nordwesten von Arkansas. Tagsüber arbeite ich als OP-Assistent in der Herz- und Thoraxchirurgie, abends bin ich Inhaber eines kleinen Unternehmens.
CustomCableCo ist ein Ein-Mann-Betrieb, den ich im Obergeschoss meiner Wohnung betreibe. Ich habe dieses Online-Unternehmen aus meiner Leidenschaft für Tastaturen und Technik im Allgemeinen gegründet. Mir fiel auf, wie schwierig es ist, zuverlässige und maßgeschneiderte Kabel für mechanische Tastaturen zu finden. Die meisten Kabelhersteller, auf die ich stieß, boten nur Sammelbestellungen an, und ich schaffte es nie rechtzeitig. Das wollte ich ändern.
Eines Tages beschloss ich, mich mal an der Herstellung von Tastaturkabeln zu versuchen. Gleich an meinem ersten Wochenende schlug mir meine Verlobte (jetzt meine Frau) vor, ein paar meiner Kabel auf Etsy anzubieten. Ich hatte Etsy noch nie benutzt und sie half mir, den Shop etwas einzurichten. Am ersten Wochenende hatte ich 15 Bestellungen. Ich war total überwältigt. Ich konnte es kaum fassen, dass Leute meine handgemachten Sachen kaufen wollten. Und das war erst der Anfang.
Sechs Jahre später habe ich meine reguläre Arbeit reduziert, um mich ganz CustomCableCo zu widmen. Der Erfolg und die anhaltende Beliebtheit des Unternehmens überwältigen mich jeden Tag aufs Neue. Ich bin allen, die mir beim Start geholfen haben, und meinen treuen Kunden, die immer wieder bei mir maßgefertigte Kabel bestellen, unendlich dankbar.
Ich werde mich stets bemühen, qualitativ hochwertige Produkte zu einem erschwinglichen Preis anzubieten. Ich freue mich auf die Zukunft und das Wachstum von CustomCableCo. Vielen Dank an alle für eure Unterstützung!

My name is Mathew and I live in Northwest Arkansas. I am a Surgical First Assist in Cardiothoracic Surgery during the day and small business owner by night.
CustomCableCo is a one man operation in the upstairs of my home. I started this online business because of my passion for keyboards and really, all things tech. I noticed how hard it was to find custom cables for mechanical keyboards that were consistently available to people. Usually when I came across a cable company, they would only do group buys and I never seemed to catch them in time. I wanted to change that.
One day I decided I was going to try my hand at making some of these keyboard cables. My first weekend attempting, my fiancé (wife now) told me I should list some I had for sale on Etsy. I had never used Etsy before and she helped me somewhat throw the store together. That first weekend I had 15 orders. I was shocked. I couldn't believe that people wanted to buy my handmade items. This was only the beginning.
Fast forward over 6 years later and I have went part time at my day-job to focus on CustomCableCo. I am shocked everyday with the success and continuance of this business. I am extremely grateful to all that have helped me get started and to the customers who have stuck by me and continue to return for more custom cables.
I will always strive to provide excellent quality products at an affordable price. I look forward to the things to come and the growth of CustomCableCo. Thank you everyone out there for all you have done!
