Ik vind het leuk om 'domme' grappen te maken waar mensen om moeten lachen – van die snelle, geestige humor die je meteen naar de clou leidt, zoals de plotselinge afdaling van een achtbaan na een lange, langzame opbouw. Maar omdat dit een visuele winkel is, moet de grap je direct raken – als een scheet in een volle lift. Graag gedaan.
Het "Geen schuurpapier"-beleid
De meeste grappige T-shirts voelen aan als schuurpapier en krimpen sneller dan het zelfvertrouwen van een komiek in een stille kamer. Maar niet die van mij. Ik bouw een lifestylemerk op, wat betekent dat als de grap moet blijven bestaan, de kleding dat ook moet doen. Ik weiger mijn kunst op goedkope spullen te drukken.

Ik kopieer niet iedereen. Ik haal misschien wel inspiratie uit de chaos van het internet, maar mijn autistische en neurodivergente zelf is te preuts en ethisch om dingen te stelen die niet van mij zijn. Ik heb mijn ziel in deze kunst gelegd, zodat jij mijn gedachten op je borst kunt dragen.
Zit er een levend mens achter deze winkel? Absoluut. Ik zit waarschijnlijk ergens in een hoekje met een kop warme chocolademelk en in alle rust te zoeken naar het volgende dat niet gezegd mag worden, maar absoluut wel afgedrukt moet worden.
Sommige dingen kun je beter onuitgesproken laten. Ze worden gevoeld. Als een klap.

I ain't copying everyone else. I might take inspiration from the chaos of the interwebz, but my autistic and neurodivergent ass is too uptight and ethical to be ripping off shit that ain't mine. I put my soul into this art so you can wear my mind on your chest.
Is there a live human behind this store? 100%. I’m probably in a corner somewhere with hot chocolate and solitude, looking for the next thing that shouldn't be said, but definitely should be printed.
Some things are best left unsaid. They are felt. Like a slap.
