🌸 Mi historia: de mamá a tiempo completo a soñadora de Etsy 🌸
¡Hola! Soy Maricor, orgullosa mamá, esposa y soñadora.
Durante muchos años, dediqué mi vida a ser madre a tiempo completo. Dejé mi carrera de enfermería en pausa para poder concentrarme en lo que más importaba: criar a mi hijo, cuidar de nuestro hogar y apoyar a mi familia en todo lo posible. Desde pintar paredes, arreglar pomos de puertas y reparar electrodomésticos, hasta cocinar y mantener todo en orden, lo he hecho todo.
Pero a medida que el costo de la vida seguía subiendo, empecé a preocuparme por nuestras finanzas. Quería ayudar a mi esposo con los gastos y darle a mi familia una vida más cómoda. Fue entonces cuando empecé a buscar algo que pudiera hacer desde casa: algo creativo, flexible y con sentido.
Luego descubrí Etsy.
Empecé a ver historias de éxito de otras vendedoras —mamás, soñadoras y creadoras— y cada historia me inspiraba más. Pensé: ¿por qué no yo también? Si ellas pueden, quizá yo también.
Ahora estoy tomando servicios de apoyo contable en línea, aprendiendo nuevas habilidades mientras construyo mi tienda de Etsy poco a poco. No es un camino fácil, pero está lleno de esperanza y propósito.
Ser madre sin ingresos fue difícil, pero gracias a Etsy, encontré una manera de expresarme, ayudar a mi familia y volver a soñar. Mi objetivo es crear algo que no solo genere ingresos, sino que también inspire a otras personas que estén en la misma situación.

🌸 My Story – From Full-Time Mom to Etsy Dreamer 🌸
Hi! I’m Maricor — a proud mom, wife, and dreamer.
For many years, I dedicated my life to being a full-time mom. I put my nursing career on hold so I could focus on what mattered most — raising my child, taking care of our home, and supporting my family in every way I could. From painting walls, fixing doorknobs, and repairing appliances, to cooking meals and keeping everything in order — I’ve done it all.
But as the cost of living kept rising, I started to worry about our finances. I wanted to help my husband with our expenses and give my family a more comfortable life. That’s when I began searching for something I could do from home — something creative, flexible, and meaningful.
Then I discovered Etsy.
I started watching success stories from other sellers — moms, dreamers, and creators — and each story inspired me more. I thought, why not me too? If they can do it, maybe I can, too.
I’m now taking Accounting Support Services online, learning new skills while building my Etsy shop little by little. It’s not an easy journey, but it’s one filled with hope and purpose.
Being a mom without an income was hard — but through Etsy, I’ve found a way to express myself, help my family, and dream again. My goal is to create something that not only earns, but also inspires others who may be in the same situation.
