Soy Rekhaben, y cada flor de esta tienda está hecha a mano por mí, aquí en Texas, puntada a puntada. Evora comenzó como suelen hacerlo las mejores cosas: en silencio. Lo que empezó como una forma de relajarme y descansar las manos en las largas tardes se convirtió poco a poco en una pasión que no podía guardar para mí: transformar hilo suave en flores que nunca se marchitan.

Hay un pedacito de mí en cada ramo. Elijo hilo de algodón de leche de primera calidad por su suavidad y delicado brillo, moldeo cada pétalo y hoja a mano, y envuelvo cada arreglo como el regalo que es. Una sola flor puede llevar una hora; un ramo completo, de ocho a doce. Considero ese tiempo un regalo, porque cuando recibes tus flores, tienes en tus manos horas de dedicación, no un producto hecho en serie.

Me enamoré de las flores de ganchillo por una sencilla razón: duran. Nunca se marchitan, nunca necesitan agua y nunca pierden un pétalo. Son hipoalergénicas, seguras para las mascotas y se mantendrán en una estantería o mesita de noche mucho después de que las flores frescas se hayan desvanecido: un recuerdo eterno de un momento, una persona o un sentimiento. Para mí, eso es lo que debe ser un regalo: algo que perdure.

I'm Rekhaben, and every single flower in this shop is made by my own two hands, here in Texas, one careful stitch at a time. Evora began the way the best things often do: quietly. What started as a way to slow down and steady my hands on long evenings slowly bloomed into a love I couldn't keep to myself — turning soft yarn into flowers that never fade.

There's a little piece of me in every bouquet. I choose premium milk cotton yarn for its softness and gentle sheen, shape each petal and leaf by hand, and wrap every arrangement like the gift it's meant to be. A single bloom can take an hour; a full bouquet, eight to twelve. I count that time as a gift — because when your flowers arrive, you're holding hours of care, not a factory shortcut.
