FarhaModest ist ein kleiner Laden, den ich um zwei Dinge herum aufgebaut habe, die mir Freude bereiten: schöne, dezente Kleidung und eine engere Verbindung zum Koran.
Im Bereich der dezenten Kleidung entwerfe und beschaffe ich Stücke, die ich selbst auch trage. Seidige 2-in-1-Khimars, atmungsaktive Chiffon-Niqabs und fließende Gebetskleider (Mukena/Telekung) aus Stoffen, die sich bei warmem Wetter angenehm weich anfühlen und auch im Alltag formstabil bleiben. Jedes einzelne Stück wird von mir persönlich geprüft, bevor es versendet wird. Ich achte auf die Nähte, den Fall und das Tragegefühl auf der Haut, denn dezente Kleidung sollte Ihnen ein Gefühl von Schutz und Anmut vermitteln und niemals steif oder kratzig sein.
Im Bereich des Korans erstelle ich digitale Vorlagen zum Nachzeichnen und für Kalligrafie, die Lernenden jeden Alters helfen, eine echte, haptische Beziehung zur arabischen Schrift aufzubauen. Juz 30, Juz 1 und das gesamte Koran-Paket sind so gestaltet, dass sie zu Hause ausgedruckt und mit Stift oder Bleistift nachgezeichnet werden können. So gelangen die Worte Vers für Vers von der Seite in Ihre Hand.

FarhaModest is a small shop I built around two things that bring me joy: beautiful modest wear, and a closer connection with the Qur'an.
On the modest side, I design and source pieces I actually wear myself. Silky 2-in-1 khimars, breathable chiffon niqabs, and flowing prayer dresses (mukena / telekung) made from fabrics that feel gentle in warm weather and hold their shape through daily wear. Every piece goes through me before it ships. I check the stitching, the drape, and the feel against the skin, because modest clothing should make you feel protected and graceful at the same time, never stiff or scratchy.
On the Qur'an side, I create digital tracing and calligraphy printables that help learners of every age build a real, physical relationship with the Arabic script. Juz 30, Juz 1, and the full Qur'an bundle are all designed to be printed at home and traced with a pen or pencil, so the words move from the page into your hand, ayah by ayah.
