Some of my favorite things
Il mio amore per il cucito, il ricamo e tutte le cose vintage è stato ispirato da molte persone meravigliose nella mia vita. Fin dal mio primo grembiule che ho imparato a cucire in 4-H (con l'aiuto di mia madre), ho amato cucire. Tutto ciò che è vintage è irresistibile per me, e soprattutto non posso rinunciare a certe lenzuola. Quando li guardo, li immagino piegati su uno scaffale nella mia stanza artigianale o come un oggetto finito come un cuscino, un grembiule o una borsa per la biancheria. La mia idea di un momento divertente è andare in antiquariato per un giorno o un fine settimana con ottimi amici. Ho una collezione di vecchi bottoni che i miei nipoti amano guardare. La mia gioia viene dalla mia famiglia e dai miei amici e mi "perdo" nel creare!
My love of sewing, needlework and all things vintage was inspired by many wonderful people in my life. Since my first apron that I learned how to sew in 4-H (with help from my mom), I have loved to sew. Anything vintage is irresistible to me, and I especially cannot pass up certain linens. When I look at them, I either picture them folded up on a shelf in my craft room or as a finished item such as a pillow, apron or laundry bag. My idea of a fun time is going antiquing for a day or weekend with really good friends. I have a collection of old buttons that my grandchildren love to look through. My joy comes from my family and friends and getting "lost" in creating!
