FliteWallet startade 2014 på samma sätt som många bra flygidéer gör: efter flygning, att dela berättelser över en öl. Tre piloter och vänner – en heltidsflygare med flest certifikat: CFII, MEI, A&P IA, en anmärkningsvärd flygingenjör med en CFII, och en hane med en bra idé. De bestämde sig för att skapa något enkelt och meningsfullt: en plånbok som fångar flygandets anda samtidigt som den är praktisk för vardagsbruk.
Inspirerad av VFR-sektionskartornas komplexitet och byggd med Tyveks hållbarhet, fann FliteWallet sin väg till bakfickorna inom flygbranschen, och innehöll inte bara kort och kontanter, utan också en påminnelse om frihet, äventyr och privilegiet att flyga.
Efter flera framgångsrika år fann varumärket nytt liv i händerna på en resentusiast och världsutforskare – inte pilot till yrket, men dragen till flyget genom vänskap och en gemensam kärlek till rörelse, upptäckter och praktisk design.
Idag fortsätter FliteWallet sin resa med samma kärnidé – att föra in flyginspirerad enkelhet i vardagen – samtidigt som de utvidgar sin berättelse bortom cockpiten till alla som dras till resor, utforskning och känslan av att åka någonstans.

Three pilots and friends – a full-time aviation professional with the most letters: CFII, MEI, A&P IA, a remarkable aeronautical engineer with a CFII, and a goon with a good idea. They set out to create something simple and meaningful: a wallet that captures the spirit of flying while staying practical for everyday carry.
Inspired by the intricacy of VFR sectional charts and built with the durability of Tyvek, FliteWallet found its way into back pockets across the aviation community, carrying not just cards and cash, but also a reminder of freedom, adventure, and the privilege of flying.
After several successful years, the brand found new life in the hands of a travel enthusiast and world explorer – not a pilot by trade, but drawn to aviation through friendships and a shared love of movement, discovery, and practical design.
Today, FliteWallet continues its journey with the same core idea – bringing aviation-inspired simplicity to everyday life – while expanding its story beyond the cockpit to anyone drawn to travel, exploration, and the feeling of going somewhere.
