Esto es más que un nuevo nombre o logotipo. Hay una historia detrás y, lo que es más importante, una mujer cuya historia merece ser contada. ❤️
Antes de C&C Creations, existía Freshly Screwed.
Freshly Screwed era un negocio que Chrystal fundó en Virginia antes de que nos conociéramos. Veterana, madre y mujer con una gran creatividad, le apasionaba transformar objetos comunes, olvidados y a veces desgastados en algo de lo que estar orgullosos. 🇺🇸
Todo comenzó con la carpintería y la restauración de muebles. 🪵🔨 Chrystal aprendió, experimentó, perfeccionó sus habilidades y se entregó por completo a cada proyecto. Lo que empezó como una forma de expresión creativa se convirtió gradualmente en su propio negocio.
Y sí, hay una historia detrás del nombre. 😉
Una tarde, mientras estaba sentada en el porche buscando algo original, divertido y memorable, Chrystal empezó a pensar en las herramientas que usaba a diario. La carpintería implicaba muchos tornillos, así que la lluvia de ideas pronto se convirtió en un pequeño juego de palabras.

Así nació Freshly Screwed.
El nombre era gracioso, un poco inapropiado si uno pensaba en ello, imposible de olvidar y completamente diferente a todo lo demás a su alrededor.
Sinceramente, eso todavía nos describe bastante bien. 😏
Cuando Chrystal y yo finalmente nos unimos y comenzamos a crear como equipo, queríamos un nombre que nos representara a ambas. Nuestros nombres de pila nos dieron las dos C, y Freshly Screwed se convirtió en C&C Creations.
C&C se convirtió en NUESTRO nombre. 💕
Pero a medida que seguíamos desarrollando este negocio, me di cuenta de que avanzar no significaba abandonar los cimientos que lo habían hecho todo posible.
Freshly Screwed era de Chrystal.
Antes de que existiera un "nosotros" en este negocio, ella se dedicó a trabajar duro, desarrolló sus habilidades, confió en su creatividad y construyó algo propio. Creó una marca tan memorable que, años después, sigue siendo inconfundiblemente suya.
No quiero que esa parte de nuestra historia desaparezca jamás.
Mi esposa trabaja muchísimo por nuestra familia. Es una madre maravillosa, una esposa increíble, una veterana como yo, mi socia y una de las personas más creativas que conozco. He sido testigo de la dedicación, la pasión, la paciencia, la frustración, las noches en vela, los intentos fallidos y el amor que pone en todo lo que hacemos. ❤️
Este cambio es mi manera de asegurar que el negocio que estamos construyendo juntos siga honrando a la mujer que plantó la primera semilla. 🌱
Nos llevamos Freshly Screwed a casa, pero mantenemos C&C porque este capítulo nos pertenece a ambos.

Freshly Screwed representa nuestras raíces.
C&C representa lo que sucedió cuando dos personas, dos veteranos, dos creadores y, lo más importante, un matrimonio, decidieron construir algo juntos. 🇺🇸❤️
Lo que empezó con la carpintería y la restauración de muebles se ha convertido en algo mucho más grande. Hoy en día, utilizamos diversos procesos creativos para transformar ideas en objetos reales y tangibles. Seguimos aprendiendo, experimentando, mejorando y descubriendo nuevas formas de crear productos personales, significativos, útiles, divertidos, bonitos o, a veces, simplemente diferentes. 🎨✨
En esencia, nuestra misión no ha cambiado con respecto a lo que Chrystal escribió originalmente sobre Freshly Screwed:

✨ Ofrece opciones a la gente.
✨ Deja volar tu creatividad.
Ahora, podemos hacerlo juntos. 💕
No sabemos exactamente qué tan grande llegará a ser esto, pero sabemos qué queremos como base: familia, creatividad, trabajo duro, originalidad y dos personas que realmente disfruten construyendo algo juntas.

This is more than a new name or logo. There’s a story behind it—and, more importantly, a woman whose story deserves to be told. ❤️
Before C&C Creations, there was Freshly Screwed.
Freshly Screwed was a business Chrystal started in Virginia before the two of us ever met. As a veteran, mother, and naturally creative woman, she had a passion for taking ordinary, overlooked, and sometimes worn-out things and turning them into something worth being proud of. 🇺🇸
It began with woodworking and furniture restoration. 🪵🔨 Chrystal learned, experimented, refined her skills, and poured herself into every project. What started as a creative outlet gradually became a business of her own.
And yes—there’s a story behind the name. 😉
One evening, while sitting on the front porch and searching for something unique, funny, and memorable, Chrystal began thinking about the tools she used every day. Woodworking involved plenty of screws, so the brainstorming quickly turned into a little wordplay.
Her projects were freshly made.
They were newly created.
And technically…
They had just been screwed. 🔩😂
Freshly Screwed was born.
The name was funny, a little inappropriate if your mind went there, impossible to forget, and completely unlike anything else around it.
Honestly, that still describes us pretty well. 😏
When Chrystal and I eventually came together and began creating as a team, we wanted a name that represented both of us. Our first names gave us the two C’s, and Freshly Screwed became C&C Creations.
C&C became OUR name. 💕
But as we continued building this business, I realized that moving forward didn’t mean leaving behind the foundation that made everything possible.
Freshly Screwed was Chrystal’s.
Before there was an “us” in this business, she put in the work, developed the skills, trusted her creativity, and built something of her own. She created a brand so memorable that, years later, it still feels unmistakably like HER.
I never want that part of our story to disappear.
My wife works unbelievably hard for our family. She is an amazing mother, an incredible wife, a fellow veteran, my business partner, and one of the most creative people I know. I’ve witnessed the thought, passion, patience, frustration, late nights, trial and error, and love she pours into everything we make. ❤️
This change is my way of ensuring that the business we’re building together continues to honor the woman who planted its first seed. 🌱
We’re bringing Freshly Screwed home—but keeping C&C because this chapter belongs to both of us.

C&C represents what happened when two people, two veterans, two creators, and—most importantly—a husband and wife decided to build something together. 🇺🇸❤️
What began with woodworking and restored furniture has grown into something much bigger. Today, we use a variety of creative processes to turn ideas into real, tangible things. We’re still learning, experimenting, improving, and discovering new ways to make products that are personal, meaningful, useful, funny, beautiful, or sometimes just completely different. 🎨✨
At its heart, our mission hasn’t changed from what Chrystal originally wrote about Freshly Screwed:
✨ Create something wonderful from nothing at all.
✨ Give people options.
✨ Let creativity run wild.
Now, we get to do that together. 💕
We don’t know exactly how big this will become, but we know what we want at its foundation: family, creativity, hard work, originality, and two people who genuinely love building something side by side.

🌳 Now it’s time to see what we can grow together.
