Welkom bij GoodmanCraftDesigns, een familiebedrijf dat sinds 2017 kwaliteitsproducten maakt. Gevestigd in Corfu, NY. We zijn er trots op dat we elk item met de hand maken, waarbij we waar mogelijk lokaal geproduceerde materialen gebruiken. Onze passie voor vakmanschap is geworteld in onze liefde voor het creëren van unieke, functionele stukken die onze klanten vreugde brengen.
Ons team is klein maar krachtig: ik ben Trina, de ontwerper en het hart achter de creaties, mijn man Eric, een gepensioneerde vakman en vrachtwagenchauffeur. Hij brengt zijn bekwame handen en jarenlange ervaring mee naar onze houtbewerkingsprojecten. Onze dochter Alexis, die een ontwikkelingsstoornis heeft, draagt bij waar ze kan, waardoor dit een echte familie-inspanning is.
Ons huis is meer dan alleen een plek om te wonen, het is waar de magie gebeurt. In de kelder hebben we een volledige houtbewerkingswinkel gebouwd waar we een verscheidenheid aan producten ontwerpen en maken, van houten speelgoed en snijplanken tot woonaccessoires en op maat gemaakte T-shirts. Ik naai ook een aantal van onze aanbiedingen, waarbij ik mijn levenslange passie voor houtbewerking en knutselen combineer met mijn liefde voor tuinieren, koken en interieurontwerp. Ik blijf voortdurend dingen toevoegen aan onze winkel.
Ik ben opgegroeid in Darien, NY, een klein plattelandsdorp in West-New York, en heb altijd inspiratie gevonden in de simpele, mooie dingen om me heen. Er is iets speciaals aan een handgemaakt item, wetende hoeveel zorg, tijd en moeite erin is gestoken om het te maken. In een wereld waarin zoveel wegwerpbaar is, zijn we er trots op om producten aan te bieden die zijn gebouwd om lang mee te gaan.
Samen hebben Eric en ik twee huizen verbouwd en momenteel helpen we onze twee oudste dochters en hun echtgenoten met klussen in hun huizen. Na meer dan 30 jaar huwelijk dromen en creëren we nog steeds samen. Eric grapt dat mijn knutselen een hobby op steroïden is, maar het is een passie die ik de komende 20, misschien wel 30 jaar hoop te blijven doen, als God het wil.

Welcome to GoodmanCraftDesigns, a family-owned business that has been crafting quality products since 2017. Located in Corfu, NY. We take great pride in making each item by hand, using locally sourced materials whenever possible. Our passion for craftsmanship is rooted in our love for creating unique, functional pieces that bring joy to our customers.
Our team is small but mighty: I’m Trina, the designer and heart behind the creations, my husband Eric, is a retired tradesman and truck driver. He brings his skilled hands and years of experience to our woodworking projects. Our daughter Alexis, who has developmental disabilities, contributes wherever she can, making this a true family effort.
Our home is more than just a place to live—it's where the magic happens. In the basement, we’ve built a full woodworking shop where we design and create a variety of products, from wooden toys and cutting boards to home décor and custom T-shirts. I also sew several of our offerings, blending my lifelong passion for woodworking and crafting with my love for gardening, cooking, and home design. I am continuously adding things to our shop.
Having grown up in Darien, NY—a small rural town in Western New York—I’ve always found inspiration in the simple, beautiful things around me. There’s something special about a handcrafted item, knowing the care, time, and effort that went into making it. In a world where so much is disposable, we’re proud to offer products that are built to last.
Together, Eric and I have remodeled two homes, and currently lend a hand to our two older daughters and their husband's as they work on their homes. After more than 30 years of marriage, we’re still dreaming and creating together. Eric jokes that my crafting has been a hobby on steroids, but it’s a passion that I hope to continue doing for the next 20, maybe 30 years—God willing.
