Lemon Zesty
Ho sempre amato disegnare e dipingere, ma la mia carriera non ha offerto molte possibilità di perseguirla fino a quando il destino non ha fatto irruzione con il suo piano. Nella mia precedente carriera come produttore televisivo, ho viaggiato in alcuni dei luoghi più remoti e pericolosi del pianeta, di cui tre volte in Antartide. Ho amato il mio lavoro e le avventure, fino a quando sono quasi morto durante le riprese in Amazzonia. Sono rimasto gravemente ferito e durante i successivi due anni di interventi chirurgici e recupero, mi sono innamorato di nuovo del disegno e della pittura. Ho chiamato il mio negozio "Lemon Zesty" perché quel terribile incidente ha finito per essere i limoni che sono stati trasformati in limonata. Sono così grato per questa nuova carriera e per la capacità di raccontare l'assurdità e la stranezza della vita di tutti i giorni, per quanto disordinata, fantastica e sconcertante com'è.
Quando non sono in viaggio, lavoro in un minuscolo studio con il mio gatto di salvataggio ai miei piedi. Dalla mia finestra posso vedere le stagioni cambiare e il mondo che passa.

I have always loved to draw and paint but my career did not offer much of a chance to pursue it until fate barged in with her own plan. In my prior career as a TV producer, I traveled to some of the most remote and dangerous places on the planet, including three times to Antarctica. I loved my job and the adventures, right up until I almost died while filming in the Amazon. I was seriously injured and during the ensuing two years of surgeries and recovery, I fell in love with drawing and painting again. I named my shop "Lemon Zesty" because that terrible accident ended up being the lemons that were turned into lemonade. I’m so grateful for this new career and the ability to chronicle the absurdity and weirdness of everyday life, as messy, awesome and perplexing as it is.
When I'm not on the road, I work out of a tiny studio with my rescue cat at my feet. From my window I can see the seasons change and the world go by.
