Il mio viaggio nel Guizhou è stato una rivelazione. Così, ho iniziato a disegnare, traducendo i motivi antichi che vedevo – le curve eleganti, gli animali simbolici, la flora vibrante – in modelli per accessori contemporanei. Sapevo di aver bisogno del tocco di un maestro per il ricamo, così ho collaborato con un'artigiana di talento che condivide la mia visione. Insieme, diamo vita a questi pezzi.

My trip to Guizhou was a revelation. I was surrounded by the profound artistry of the local minority communities—the bold, wax-resist patterns of batik and the intricate, story-filled stitches of their embroidery. It was a living, breathing Oriental beauty I had only ever read about. I was captivated.
But I noticed a disconnect. These magnificent art forms, while admired, were often distant from modern life. I believed this beauty shouldn't just be kept in villages; it should be worn, felt, and carried into everyday life. That was the spark.
Returning home, the "inner melody" of that experience continued to play. I couldn't let it fade. So, I started sketching, translating the ancient motifs I saw—the elegant curves, the symbolic animals, the vibrant flora—into designs for contemporary accessories. I knew I needed a master's touch for the embroidery, so I partnered with a talented artisan who shares my vision. Together, we bring these pieces to life.
