Cuando mi esposo me compró mi Apple Watch hace un par de meses, inmediatamente supe que la banda deportiva NO era mi estilo. Era gomoso, pegajoso y no podía acostumbrarme a usarlo. Entonces, a las interwebs fui, en busca de una alternativa elegante. Encontré muchas opciones. Como mucho. Para que la correa del Apple Watch sea un nicho de mercado, pensé, seguramente esto no puede ser tan importante. Pero cuanta más investigación hice, más descubrí que la banda no sirve de nada si no está conectada con un adaptador de calidad bien hecho. Hay dos tipos: el tipo que se atornilla y el tipo que utiliza una barra de resorte. Los adaptadores tipo barra de resorte tienen menos posibilidades de fallar, en función de los dos puntos de conexión, mientras que los otros tienen tres puntos de conexión, o mejor dicho, tres puntos de error. Entonces, decidí que iba a hacer el mío propio. Entonces mis amigos comenzaron a hacerme hacer una banda, y luego sus amigos me golpearon, y tuve un momento de bombilla, ¡debería venderlos! Así que aquí estoy, tratando de descubrir el mundo de Etsy, haciendo correas de reloj cuando tengo una oportunidad libre. When my husband bought my Apple Watch for me a couple months ago, I immediately knew that the sport band was NOT my style. It was rubbery, and sticky and I could not get used to wearing it. So, to the interwebs I went, in search of a stylish alternative. I found a lot of options. Like a lot. For the Apple Watch band to be such a niche market, I thought, surely this can't be that big of a deal. But the more research I did, the more I found that the band is of no use to you if it's not attached with a quality well-made adapter. There are two types: the type that screws in, and the type that uses a spring bar. The spring bar type adapters have less chances of failing, based on the two connection points, where as the others have three points of connection, or rather, three points of error. So, I then decided I was just going to make my own. Then my friends started having me make them a band, and then their friends hit me up, and I had a lightbulb moment, I should sell these! So here I am, trying to figure out the Etsy world, making watch bands when I get a free chance. Having 3 kids, a handsome husband, a dog, a cat, a goldfish, and a guinea pig, my life can get pretty hectic!!! Thanks for shopping and God bless you!
