Algumas histórias começam nos lugares mais inesperados. As cartas de Toby começaram durante a tranquilidade do confinamento em 2021, quando o mundo desacelerou e um pequeno esquilo chamado Toby encontrou sua voz.
A história de Toby é simples. Quando uma tempestade destruiu sua amada casa na árvore, ele foi resgatado por Lucy, a pinguim, que o levou para um novo lar a bordo do trem azul — onde ele encontrou uma nova família: George, o urso marrom, Oliver, a girafa, William, o elefante, e Benjamin, o porco. Juntos, eles viajam pelo mundo, fazem novos amigos e vivem muitas aventuras.
E em algum momento dessa jornada, Toby descobriu que adora escrever cartas.
Ele escreve para seu bom amigo Charlie, o texugo, compartilhando suas aventuras, suas observações e as pequenas e maravilhosas coisas que percebe no mundo ao seu redor. Some stories begin in the most unexpected places. Letters from Toby began during the quiet of lockdown in 2021, when the world had slowed to a stillness and a little squirrel named Toby found his voice.
Toby's story is a simple one. When a storm destroyed his beloved tree house, he was rescued by Lucy the penguin, who carried him to a new home aboard the blue train — where he found a new family in George the brown bear, Oliver the giraffe, William the elephant, and Benjamin the pig. Together they travel the world, meet new friends, and have many adventures.
And somewhere along the way, Toby discovered he loves to write letters.
He writes to his good friend Charlie the badger — sharing his adventures, his observations, and the small, wonderful things he notices about the world around him. The first 5 letters are now available in this shop, with more to come. Every letter is written and illustrated by Denise Wong, the artist behind DeniseWongArts.
