Trabajaba como recepcionista en una empresa bastante grande y siempre he tenido vocación de servicio. Cuando a los empleados les robaban el almuerzo, venían a contármelo.
Una mujer guardaba su almuerzo en una bolsa de papel marrón con su nombre escrito. Debía de preparar unos almuerzos deliciosos, porque era un blanco frecuente. A veces solo le robaban un alimento, pero casi siempre se lo llevaban todo. Me daba mucha pena.
Busqué en internet una bolsa para el almuerzo con cierre, pero en 2009 no encontré ninguna. Así que fui al departamento de marketing y me dieron un contacto para que pudiera fabricarlas. Le di la primera a la mujer que siempre perdía su almuerzo. ¡Estaba encantada!
Desde entonces, la gente me comentó que guardaban sus medicamentos en su bolso. Luego recibí un correo electrónico de una madre lactante que solo tenía un refrigerador comunitario, así que compró un Lunch Locka y estaba muy contenta de saber que sus medicamentos estaban a salvo.
Una cosa es que te roben tus pertenencias y otra muy distinta es que alguien ponga algo en tu comida. ¡El mundo está muy peligroso, así que tienes que hacer todo lo posible para estar a salvo!
No promociono mis bolsos y hay otros que venden lo mismo. Cerré la página web y solo vendo lo que tengo en stock. Lo hice simplemente porque había una necesidad real.
No sé cómo alguien gana dinero vendiendo artículos como estos. Pagar $$ por la bolsa, $$ por imprimir el logo en la bolsa, $$ por el candado, $$ por imprimir el logo en el candado, $ materiales de embalaje, $$ comisiones de las plataformas donde vendes.

I was a receptionist at a fairly large company and it’s in my nature to help others. When employees had their lunch stolen they would come tell me about it.
One woman would put her lunch in a brown paper bag with her name written on it. She must have made some delicious lunches because she was a regular target. Sometimes only 1 item was taken but most of the time they took it all. I felt so sorry for her.
I searched the internet for a locking lunch bag but in 2009 there were none. So I went to our marketing department and they gave me a contact so I could make these bags. I gave my first one to the woman who kept losing her lunch. She was so happy!
Since then people told me that they were keeping their medication in their bag. Then I got the email from a nursing mother and only had a community fridge so she got a Lunch Locka and was so happy knowing it was safe!
It’s one thing to have items taken from you and it’s another that someone might put something in your food. It’s crazy out there so you need to do what you can to Be Safe!!!
I don’t market my bags and there are others who are selling the same idea. I dropped the website and just selling what I have in stock. I just did this because there was a real need.
I don’t know how anyone makes money selling items like this. Pay $$ for bag, $$ printing logo on bag, $$ for lock, $$ printing logo on lock, $ packaging materials, $$ fees from platforms where you sell.
