Luula es una marca familiar que produce muebles infantiles de diseño original de contrachapado de abedul natural laminado. Más que una marca de diseño, Luula busca crear recuerdos de infancia en acción real y con ideas atractivas. Los productos básicos son mesas infantiles originales, multifuncionales, ajustables y multisensoriales y estructuras de juegos plegables y transformables. Nuestras colecciones de diseño tienen sus raíces en las tradiciones escandinavas de simplicidad. Representamos un enfoque estético lúdico pero sencillo del diseño que acompaña la vida familiar cotidiana.
✨Nuestra historia✨
Una vez, cuando nuestra hija Selina Sarah tenía 4 años, le dimos un tablero de plástico como regalo. Fue como magia: se crearon pinturas especiales de tecnología de tiza, se jugaron juegos de letras y números, se hicieron planes para fiestas de cumpleaños y también se descubrieron y desarrollaron nuevas ideas para varios juegos hechos por ellos mismos con mamá y papá. A veces, el tablero se convirtió en una lista de precios, un lugar para colocar dibujos favoritos y, a veces, un lugar para jugar Tic Tac Toe cómodamente. Pero de vez en cuando, el tablero de plástico descubría los rincones ocultos del alma del niño y sus experiencias y aventuras diarias.
Actualmente tiene 8 años y la pizarra sigue en uso.
Incluso con acuarelas, al principio nos parecía más fácil dibujar en el suelo. Allí, el tanque de agua no se derramará más allá del suelo. Y solo salpicará el suelo, que es fácil de limpiar. Y en el suelo también hay un amplio espacio para la acción creativa con pincel.
Nuestra amiga de la familia, Iveta, es maestra en la escuela Montessori y está criando a una niña de 3 años. Quería que Mia hiciera lo que más le gusta en las largas tardes de invierno: jugar en la arena. El pequeño apartamento negó la oportunidad de comprar una mesa de arena especial. Por lo tanto, se necesitaba una versión más pequeña para cerrarla cuando terminaran los juegos de arena y la mesa también pudiera usarse para otros fines. El almacenamiento opcional de arena, plásticos, libros, constructores, casas de muñecas, etc. podría almacenarse en el tanque de la mesa. Por lo tanto, nació una gran idea: buscábamos una mesa para niños con un tanque pequeño debajo.
Porque la oportunidad de crear es necesaria, para enseñarte a amarte y aceptarte a ti mismo, a los demás y al mundo que te rodea. Porque la creación te hace darte cuenta de quién eres en este gran mundo. ¡Ese es un buen comienzo para una aventura de larga vida!
Entonces la mesa? ¿Un cofre del tesoro donde guardar accesorios? ¿Una pizarra o un arenero en la habitación? ¿Para los niños pequeños que aún eran pequeños? También para nuestra Selina de 8 años, ¡todavía le gustaría tener uno! ¡Tan fácilmente transformable para diferentes necesidades y lo más importante con altura ajustable! Y el área de juegos para niños todas las noches no se verá interrumpida y permanecerá igual hasta el día siguiente. En el que el niño puede pasar tiempo dándose cuenta de sus propios pensamientos con sus padres o amigos, o de forma completamente independiente.
Estábamos navegando por las tiendas en línea, las ofertas no nos satisfacían.
Entonces, desde ese momento, mantuvimos vivos nuestros sueños e ideas, que luego se convirtieron en una idea de negocio: crear una mesa especial personalizada para preescolar y primaria para actividades creativas: Luu Table. La tabla debe incluir el máximo número de actividades favoritas en un entorno funcional y natural. "¡Quiero hacerlo yo mismo!" – ¿Te suena familiar esta frase? Bueno, ¡comencemos entonces! Para los niños y sus padres: cuando prevalecerá el cansancio, la mesa creativa brindará relajación para ambos, especialmente cuando el niño jugará y creará de forma independiente.
Así es como se creó nuestra Mesa Luu, de acuerdo con las peculiaridades ergonómicas, físicas y emocionales del desarrollo y la cognición de la edad del niño, así como el conocimiento de la psicología del desarrollo. Somos de Letonia, un lugar de donde proviene una de las lenguas y culturas más antiguas de Europa. Luula es un antiguo nombre letón. Luula es la que protege y cuida.
Nuestros próximos proyectos estarán diseñados para crear equipos adicionales para la mesa creativa que podrán conectarse al diseño existente. Veamos también la oferta para niños en edad escolar. Cuando la gente escucha nuestras ideas, los adultos también preguntan: ellos también tienen sus propios sueños y necesidades. ¿Cuáles serán exactamente estas nuevas oportunidades de juego, que por ahora seguirán siendo nuestro pequeño secreto?

Luula is a family brand that produces original design children's furniture of laminated natural birch plywood. More than just a design brand, Luula is in search of creating childhood memories in real action and with attractive ideas. Our design collections are rooted in the Scandinavian traditions of simplicity. We represent a playful yet straightforward aesthetic approach to design that accompanies everyday family life.

Once when our daughter Selina Sarah was 4 years old, we gave her a plastic board as a present. It was like magic – special paintings of chalk technology were created, letter and number games were played, birthday party plans were made and new ideas for various self-made games with mom and dad were also discovered and developed. At times, the board became a pricelist, a place to place favorite drawings, and at times – a place to play Tic Tac Toe comfortably. But occasionally, the plastic board discovered the child’s hidden corners of the soul and their daily experiences and adventures.
Currently, she is 8 years old and the board is still in use.
Even with watercolors, it seemed easier for us to draw on the floor – at first. There the water tank will not spill any further than the ground. And only the floor, which is easy to clean, will splash. And on the floor is also a wide space for creative action with a paintbrush.
Our family friend Iveta is a teacher at Montessori School and she is raising a 3-year-old daughter. She wanted Mia to do what she likes best in the long winter evenings – playing in the sand. The small apartment denied the opportunity to buy a special sand table. So there was a need for a smaller version to close it when the sand games ended and the table could be used for other purposes as well. Optional storage of sand, plastics, books, constructors, dollhouses, etc. could be stored in the tank of the table. Therefore a great idea was born – we were looking for a table for kids with a small tank underneath.
Because the opportunity to create is necessary, to teach you to love and accept yourself, others, and the world around you. Because creation makes you realize who you are in this great world. That’s a good start to a long life adventure!
So the table? A treasure box where to store accessories? A Blackboard or a Sandbox in the room? For toddlers who were still small? Also for our 8 years old Selina, she still would like to have one! So easily transformable for different needs and most importantly with adjustable height! And the kid's playground every evening won’t be disrupted and stay the same until the next day. At which the child can spend time realizing his/her own thoughts with parents or friends, or completely independently.
We were browsing through online stores – the offers did not satisfy us.
So from that moment, we kept our dreams and ideas alive, which later turned into a business idea – to create a special personalized pre-school and primary school table for creative activities – Luu Table. The table should include the maximum number of favorite activities in a functional, natural environment. “I want to do it myself!” – does this phrase sounds familiar to you? Well, let’s begin then! For children and their parents – when tiredness will prevail, the creative table will give relaxation for both, especially when the child will be playing and creating independently.
That’s how our Luu Table got created – according to the child’s ergonomic, physical, and emotional peculiarities of age development and cognition, as well as knowledge of developmental psychology. We are from Latvia – a place where one of the oldest languages and cultures in Europe comes from. Luula is an ancient Latvian name. Luula is the one that protects and cherishes.
Our next projects will be designed to create additional equipment for the creative table that will be able to connect to the existing design. Let’s also look at the offer for school-age children. When people hear about our ideas, adults also ask – they also have their own dreams and needs. What exactly will these new gaming opportunities be – that for now will remain our little secret😊
