Hi there! I'm Ilyass, the person behind MyNewSkill, and I'm so glad you stopped by! 👋
MyNewSkill was born from a simple but powerful idea: everyone deserves the chance to learn something new. Whether it's knitting your first scarf, crafting a cozy hat for a loved one, or finally tackling that project you've been putting off, I'm here to make it happen!
I know how overwhelming it can feel to start something from scratch. That's exactly why every single pattern and tutorial in this shop is designed with beginners in mind, clear, step-by-step, and full of encouragement along the way. No confusing jargon, no skipped steps, just simple, straightforward guides that actually work.
What started as a passion for crafting quickly grew into something bigger when I realized how many people were searching for tutorials they could truly follow and enjoy. Today, with over 1,200 happy crafters in our community, MyNewSkill is more than just a shop, it's a place where skills are built and creativity is celebrated. 🎉
Every pattern I create is tested to make sure it's easy to understand and enjoyable to complete. And if you ever get stuck? I'm just a message away, I typically respond within a few hours because your experience matters to me personally.
Thank you for supporting a small business and for choosing to learn something new today. Now let's get crafting! 🧡

5 out of 5 starsI have been looking for this specific "puppy" pattern for my new neighbor ...a little baby born this summer. This will make the perfect homemade gift when I finish knitting it.

5 out of 5 starsI downloaded the pattern; used slightly different colors; made the turtle for a teen who loved it.
