Waystone è un'azienda fondata e gestita a livello familiare. Abbiamo aperto un negozio nel 2019 ai margini della prateria occidentale di Denver, in Colorado.
Ma la nostra storia inizia davvero con un matrimonio.
Quando Leslie sposò Sean al Chief Hosa Lodge, volle fare alle sue damigelle un regalo personale per ringraziarle di aver preso parte al suo matrimonio. Durante la visita al lodge prima del matrimonio, raccolse alcune pietre che attirarono la sua attenzione. Le piccole pietre maculate erano rocce normali, ruvide e di forma irregolare. Ma sapeva che sua madre, Beverly, una geologa con il suo studio di gioielleria, avrebbe potuto trasformarli in qualcosa di speciale.
Peter, il padre di Leslie e un ingegnere esperto, iniziò a sviluppare strumenti in grado di prendere qualsiasi pietra e trasformarla in bellissimi gioielli personalizzati. Il resto della famiglia iniziò a sviluppare altri aspetti dell'attività. A poco a poco, Waystone fu costruita.
Waystone is a family founded and operated company. We opened up shop in 2019 at the edge of the western prairie Denver, Colorado.
But, our story really starts with a marriage.
When Leslie married Sean at Chief Hosa Lodge, she wanted to give her bridesmaids a personal gift to thank them for being a part of her wedding. While visiting the lodge before the wedding, she picked up a few stones that caught her eye. The small, speckled stones were ordinary rocks, rough and in irregular shapes. But she knew her mom, Beverly, a geologist with her own jewelry studio, could turn them into something special.
Peter, Leslie’s father and a seasoned engineer, began to develop tools that could take any stone and turn it into beautiful, custom jewelry. The rest of the family began building other aspects of the business. Little by little, Waystone was built.
